Scott had always been alone for while in his travels. Meeting the other emperors had been one of the best things that happened to him. He had friends he could go to when he needed help or if he just wanted to harass them.
Because of this, Scott realised how lonely he actually was. He never noticed because he had always been alone, he never had someone to just talk with. To be friends with. To be lovers with. And maybe that made him a bit jealous of those who always had that.

Maybe sometimes he got lonely, maybe sometimes he forgot that he didn’t have to be lonely. Maybe that’s why he’d sometimes just random go over to pester Jimmy or pretend to be doing a trade with Sausage just to hang out. Maybe he didn’t want to realise how that was probably the worst way to deal with his problems.
Scott was hard headed, stubborn and quite frankly didn’t even want to consider the thought that he could let his guard down. He had built such as wall around himself that when he first started collecting his llama, he rather talk with them then actually people. He didn’t want to care for all his faults.

Scott was afraid. Afraid that they would leave him if he slipped up. He didn’t want to lose the little bit of company he had received. He was so scared that there might be something he could do that would make them leave him. He didn’t want to be alone again. Even if he had the llamas, they can’t talk.
Cause of how afraid he had been it open another can of worms, like what if he never made friends? Would it be better to able to go at least more then four days without wanting to go talk to at least one person? He wished someone could give him the answer._

Jimmy had always been the easiest target for him to simple just random go over and ‘tease’ so no one realised anything was wrong with him. Scott also found his reaction quite funny so it was honestly just an added bonus. Maybe he did over do somethings, but it was never harmful.
The fact that Jimmy had always been the laughing stack of the group definitely made him feel even worse, but it was the easiest way for him to hide. No one ever questioned each other when they tease or made jokes with Jimmy, they all believed they knew when to stop.(Did they?)

Sausage was one of the two people he trusted not to just up and leave him. That didn’t make him anymore afraid, no but it did make him feel more comforted. The thought that if he was truly hurting, he had at least one person that would care to listen. Even if it might derange from that.
Scott was happy to have a friend like Sausage, the constant jokes and flirts made him feel like they were friends for years(and in the bad of his mind something said they were.) He felt like he could be more free around him. Even when things got dark, they were closer then Scott was with the rest.

Pix was all one he felt more comfortable with. Even if by all definition, they both were collectors, Scott felt like he wouldn’t be as great as him. But even with that, he wasn’t even rude to Scott, even when he stole him emerald ore. It was amusing to be around Pix while he worked, even if you didn’t know what he was doing.
If Scott ever needed somewhere to hide out or simply run to, he’d always choose Pix. Nothing against the others, but he was simply the smartest out of them all. And he knew his way around anywhere and everywhere. (If Pix wasn’t such a good guy, Scott thinks they’d make the perfect crime duo.)

When the ‘hermits’, as they had called themselves, visited their lands he became envious, jealous, of them. They had been friends for so long, some of them even having lovers. He was more then jealous, actually. He was furious, actually.
It was such a stupid reason be jealous or angry at anyone. But he was, when Scott first met the other emperors, they saw him as a thief. And while that was true, he was just so jealous on how quick the ‘hermits’ where excepted.
