    Alex didn’t even have to look at the sweatshirt to know what it looked like; he had every stitch and imperfection memorized and burned behind his eyelids. The worn sleeves, small holes rubbed through on the cuffs from one to many nights of restless sleep and nervous tics. The navy lettering printed on the front spelling out ‘OXFORD’, the print cracking from being worn so often. The fraying of the collar, little white threads poking up sporadically.
