Summary
Vampires may ingest mortal foods; only it tastes like rot and filth instead of whatever delight it may have been before it wound up in the maw of such a blood-thirsty beast. One could imagine the vampire would struggle to fill itself with such unnourishing material, as the benefits of most foods are null to the tongue of something that cannot taste it, a stomach that cannot properly digest it, and a body that overall can't process any of the vitamins, minerals, proteins and other necessities rendered redundant.
Certain phenomena exempt, it'd without a doubt be foolish for a vampire to eat humanoid-foods, let alone gorge itself on it.
