Alex stared at the email in shock. Is she fucking serious?

Hi Alex, I made a pretty large mistake. I did not include Miguel Ramos who did turn in an application to run for treasurer. I need to have a vote or if you would like to be secretary, then I can just move your application to secretary. I am so very terribly Sorry for my mistake. If you are not interested in the secretary at all, I completely understand and we will have an election on Monday. (Yes, this is the email I got but with the names changed out)
Alex continues to stare at the email. You see, Alex had been running unopposed since Monday. For three days, to say the least. Now, Mrs. Bankston messed up, and elections for treasurer were on Monday. It was Thursday.

I am not very interested in secretary, sadly, so could we do elections on Monday? If so, that would be great!
Alex shook his head, feeling tears prick his eyes. Of course it had to be fucking Miguel running against him. The more popular guy, only because he was nice to people's faces and talked shit behind their backs. Alex was just the annoying one who was too loud and too much all the time. He exited his email and switched to messages, pulling up Henry's contact.

Alex sighed. He knew Henry was busy studying with Pez for the math test they had, but he desperately wanted his boyfriend to comfort him at the moment. When he didn't get a response after ten minutes, he exited the messages app and switched to Google. Going to flixtor.to, he typed 'Billie Marcus: How I survived high-school' and entered his search. His comfort movie popped up and he gratefully clicked on it, settling down on Nora's mom's couch and pressing play on the movie. He needed comfort and the jokes in this movie gave him just that. He desperately wished that Nora's mom wasn't his ride home, and that she hadn't been called in today, because if she wasn't then Alex would be crying on his bed at home. He watched the two hour movie, still no response from Henry, which only caused his heart to sink further.
