Summary
Only a defeated boy can see the starry nights where the den lays low and he reaches for something glimmering in the cave, just to disappear. Kieran tried to live without a mask but it only seems that the legends unfolded to his own fate and now he must dawn his own mask in order to thrive in a twisted world. Battling trauma and death is one thing, but what can you do when you have to look at a mirror and battle yourself?
Kieran explores the region of Kitakami and Paldea, unwilling to fix himself or deal with what his past has been hiding. And with his sister, Carmine, always on his case, he's sinking further and further into a manic depression with with anxiety spiking to make him unable to meet anyone's gaze. He can't even meet his own, but maybe something lying deep in Kitakami might be his saving grace, or something much much worse.
