“Yes, Sir. I’m sorry.” Reyes shifted slightly to get back into the position Salen expected. He was on his hands and knees, his forehead on the floor that just refused to warm up to his body heat. His knees scraped over the cold metal. He was going to have bruised knees for days. “Seven, Sir. Thank you,” he added firmly once he was back in position, not wanting to get a more severe punishment for forgetting to count. If he could be good now, Salen might reward him later. The Admiral could be very generous with his rewards if Reyes was good for him, and nothing was more important to Reyes than being good for his owner.
