Scp-1999 "The Stone"
Classification: Level 3
Containment procedures: Scp-1999 is to be placed in a 10x10x10" lead box, which is surrounded by a magnetic field. Furthermore, an iron, silver, and [REDACTED] box of increasing size is to surround the prior described apparatus, each box having it's own independent magnetic field. This is to then be placed in a standard 10x10x10' Containment cell, which is to be filled with a lethal gas and completely sealed. No personnel are to ever approach the cell, and there is to be constant watch through standard security cameras.
Description: Scp-1999 is a small stone approximately 10 cm. in diameter, with an image of a Triangle, circle and vertical line inscribed upon one face. It is one of three legendary objects within the British "magical world" and is said to allow its user to speak to a dead loved one if turned three times; however, it has caused multiple suicides and even has attempted to possess one of the MTF members who was sent to retrieve it. It was brought to Foundation personnel attention by [REDACTED] [REDACTED] after the former was influenced by it*. Unusually, it was brought to the attention of MTF Beta 777 directly, rather than through the usual channels, but upon the discovery of its affects, it was a wise decision.
*(personal note: that poor couple has really had it rough; we may need to bring them in, if only as outside contractors and advisors)
