Chapter Text
The orange liquid bubbled in the clear glass vial. It glowed against his white glove as he stared down at it with a satisfied expression. It took him nearly 4 months but he’s finally gotten the mixture just right.
That is, it will be just right after they’ve tested it. ‘They’ as in him and the other villain that’s lazing around in a chair in the corner of the room. All For One has done just about the bare minimum to help him in creating this serum. Nothing but adding meaningless inputs on what he had and hadn't done wrong.
Although the serum was his idea, he’s done nothing to actually help make it. That doesn’t matter too much to him. If it helps get rid of quirks then the backstory of it doesn’t matter. The point is that this serum will finally make the world a better place.
Now, this serum wasn’t his first option but it was definitely easier to deal with than the girl. His boss had been really insistent that he would not use his granddaughter to help him achieve his goal. He himself found it ridiculous, so he did the one logical thing he could do. He overhauled him.
Turns out it was a waste to do that. Not even a month after the boss’s unfortunate ‘accident’, All For One stepped out of his shadows to present his apparent genius idea. But Chisaki was skeptical. Why the hell would a villain who quite literally relies on quirks want to be rid of them?
It didn’t make sense to him at all. He didn’t trust the man either. But the idea tempted him too much, so he took the offer in partnering up with the other.
All For One just observes as he injects the serum into an assistant’s arm. He watched for a reaction or even a slight change in the young man’s face but there was nothing. It looks like he wasn’t affected at all.
There was a moment where he thought that maybe the serum had failed. If that was the case it would be disappointing, he thought he had finally got it.
Suddenly red was on the floor. Chisaki backed up quickly, cringing at the sight. The young assistant just threw up blood. A lot of it. It even got on him, how disgusting.
The assistant hurled over, clutching his stomach in pain. So the drug had an effect after all.. but was it the right one? Once the young man had calmed with just his labored breathing to show his previous struggle, Chisaki bent down beside him.
“You’ve gotten my floor all dirty. You’ll clean it after this.” He examined the boy in front of him, tilting his head a bit. “Your quirk. Use it.”
The guy had quite a useless quirk if you were to ask him. He had the ability to sprout flowers from any surface by just touching it. No one but a little kid would be impressed by that.
The guy pressed his palm against the floor, beginning to activate his quirk. Only for nothing to happen. He closed his eyes tightly, trying again before huffing a breath he held in.
The serum worked. A smile crept onto his face. Finally. After so long he’s finally got something to purge the world of it’s revolting feature. He’d be able to make everything better now. A perfect world, one with no quirks.
“Why don’t we call it a day, Overhaul?” He glanced at All for one. He forgot he was still there to be honest. The man is eerily quiet. “We’ve done enough for today. Let’s let your men rest.”
‘We’ is a longshot. He did all the work, All for one just provided the idea. Of course he doesn’t let his thoughts free, he knows better. His ego may be high but he knows when he’ll surely lose a fight.
He dismisses his men with a wave of his hand. “We’re waiting until tomorrow to release it, why?” He’s getting a bit impatient. He’s finally finished the serum but he has to wait to actually use it?
All for one saw how it worked so why would he put it off?
“We have yet to see full results. Things like this take patience, Chisaki. Let’s wait until morning, then you can go and use it to your heart’s content.” He hates how the man makes sense.
It is wise to wait a little to see if there's any nasty side effects. But to be honest, he doesn’t really care if there's bad side effects to this serum, it takes away quirks just like it’s supposed to.
He doesn’t care if it causes pain or not, as long as it’s doing what it was made for, it's fine. But still, he relents letting All for one win for now. He honestly just wants this whole process to go faster so the man can get the fuck out of his facility.
“Fine. I’ll check in on the young man tomorrow morning. After that, I’ll send my men to go shoot our main targets.” He tucks the serum away into his jacket.
‘Main targets’ are referring to pro heroes that usually patrol this area. If we get most of the heroes out of the way and decommissioned, hitting civilians would come more easily.
All might was going to be on that list but All for one was against it. Claiming he wanted All Might's quirk for himself. Honestly, why does he need that oaf’s quirk? He already has one too many.
He let it go, he’ll take away his precious quirks sooner or later anyways. It was only a matter of time.
“I have to go now, Shigaraki is expecting me soon.” All for one gets up from the chair he’s been sitting in for practically forever. It’s a wonder his ass isn't molded to it.
He only gets to blink in return before the man before him is gone. An annoyed sigh escapes him as he runs a hand down his face. Perhaps waiting until tomorrow was a good idea, he’s exhausted.
When he said he wanted to wait until tomorrow to check on the man he didn’t mean 2 in the fucking morning. Who the hell is making so much sound at this hour? His men knew better than to make noise if they were to ever stay up past him.
He tore the blanket off himself, slipping off his bed while grabbing his mask. The hell are they doing? It sounds like they're having a wrestling tournament out there.
He walks over to the door, slamming it open. The sound is coming from down the hall, leading to where the assistants usually dorm while they work here for a short time.
The dorms where the young man he’s tested on has been staying. Maybe there was a bad side effect after all? Some pain killers would do him good. He doesn’t want to overhaul him, he’s too tired.
He begins to walk down the hall and the sounds get louder .. and weirder. He hears a sort of growling as he gets closer to the assistant dormitory side, and some kind of chewing. Sounds like meat.
He’s woken him up and stole food from him too? This guy has a lot of nerve.
His anger was short-lived once he opened the door. A sickening sight of some of his men sprawled out across the floor, some had their throats ripped out, some had their stomachs ripped open , arms torn off , even some had their backs torn through, some of their guts are still splattered onto the floor.
He’s no stranger to the sight but that’s because he’s the one that usually causes people to end up like this. But this.. wasn’t him at all. It made him cringe.
He turned on the light to see better and looked around the room. The chewing sound was much louder. He walked further in, dodging the bodies and their spilled insides on the floor.
Whatever did this is fucking gross.
He followed the sound of growling, the loud chewing, and now that he was closer, he could also hear some sort of clicking. It led him to another door. But that wasn’t the only thing that led him there.
The room was used to store weapons and from the looks of it, one of his men must have been trying to get here. There's blood painted footsteps leading to the door. From the looks of it they were in a hurry.
He puts his hand on the doorknob, turning it. He prepares himself to use his quirk on whatever creature is in here and just go back to bed and deal with this mess later.
When he throws the door open though, he freezes in shock. He doesn’t quite know what to make of the sight in front of him. Was that young man from before.. eating one of his men?
What the actual fuck is going on.
Was the guy like.. a cannibal or something? That’s gross.
Yellow eyes snapped up to meet him. The young man was now so pale, it looked as if he could be a ghost. The guy dropped the arm he was ‘snacking on’ and rose to his feet.
Overhaul hears groaning from behind him. Was one of his men still alive after that? Ouch. That must hurt. He makes the mistake of turning around to check who made the sound before he hears quick padding of feet hitting the ground.
He shifts at just the right time to miss the young man trying to bite him. Really? Can’t he just finish eating the others here if he’s hungry, why go for him?
He steps back each time the guy tries to come closer. His eyes looked more dazed from when he threw up. It had this glassy look to it that just screamed dead.
It was weird, he was moving like he had no idea how to walk properly again. He was stumbling and tripping all over the place. Blood filled spit was drooling out of his mouth.
It was a gross sight and he wants to be rid of it. He slams the palm of his hand to the young man’s face before activating his quirk, successfully shattering him into cube like pieces.
A hand grabs his leg and he rears his foot to kick the person in the face. He looks down at the other man who very much looks like he should be dead. His back was torn open, his spine literally ripped out yet this guy is still moving?
He hears faint shuffling to his right. More men started moving now. If Chisaki didn’t know any better he’d simply say that this was the start of a zombie apocalypse but that was just stupid. Zombies don’t exist.
He backs away to the door to exit back out into the hallway. Zombies weren’t out of the question, quirks exist now after all but it’s still considered as a silly little fiction monster. No one really believed in them and no one believes they could ever come to be.
He slams the door closed again, the screeching behind it gradually getting louder. Maybe the guy had rabies or something. Whatever this thing is he doesn’t want to catch it.
A scream from down the hall was heard and he could hear people running. Chisaki furrowed his eyebrows, did the disease spread outside of the room already?
He rushes back down the hall, the screaming was just a ways down past his room. It was near Eri’s.
He turned the corner to see her, crying on the floor next to one of his top men. Hari Kurono. He was one of Eri’s main caretakers.
Hari had a big chunk of his leg missing, it looked as if it’s been bit off. From the looks of it, he must’ve dropped Eri while running from whoever did this.
With the girl crying hysterically on the floor he doesn’t waste time to ask her questions. He picks the little girl up, his eyes not leaving Hari’s body. The man’s lip begins to quiver slightly before he coughs up a load of blood, similar to the young man he tested on earlier.
Chisaki knew better than to stick around any longer. It was clear Hari was infected with this disease too. At least the girl was fine, she could fix this. He just needs to figure out how to do it.

Izuku hops on one foot, trying to shove his foot into his shoe. He’d gotten up a bit later than usual today. He forgot to set his alarm after doing his homework.
“Izuku, don’t forget your breakfast!” Inko comes running to the front door, holding out a brown paper bag. “And your lunch.” She grabs his bag from his hands to stuff both items into his bag.
“Thanks mom,” Izuku grabs his bag again and Inko grabs his face to kiss his cheek. “I have to get going now.” He puts his bag on, waving to his mom as he opens the door.
“You have a good day at school, now. And call me if anything happens, okay?” Inko clasped her hands together as Izuku double checked his pockets for his house keys.
“I’ll be fine, mom. I love you, Bye!” Izuku closes the door before Inko could reply.
He rushes down the stairs of his apartment, nearly tripping on some steps. Although he hasn’t been late too much, the security guards will still scold him a lot if he’s late and then he’ll be even more late to class.
He definitely wasn’t going to deal with that today.
Luckily enough his school wasn’t that far from his house. He was in such a hurry that he wasn’t looking where he was going and bumped into someone.
“Oh I’m-“ The man didn’t stick around for Izuku’s apology, instead he just continued to run off. Izuku squinted his eyes in confusion before shrugging and continued to head towards the school.
Thankfully enough, he made it through the gates 3 minutes before late time. He slowed down his pace, walking the rest of the way to his classroom. Most students are already near their classes so Izuku’s safe from the others for now.
Izuku walks into class with his head down. None of his classmates in this particular class engage in bullying much, they just laugh at him. He’d still rather keep his head down, he doesn’t want to look at them.
He takes a seat at his desk, ignoring the stained writing that’s been left on it. The lesson hadn't started yet so he took the time to go on his phone to scroll through the news. Nothing much has happened this past week.
There were no villain outbreaks or even small crimes. It was oddly peaceful but he guesses that’s a good thing.
He lets out a grunt as a classmate bumps into his seat. While it wasn’t on purpose, the boy didn’t turn around to apologize. He was looking at his other classmates with a disgusted look on his face.
His name was Ryota Suzuki. The girl he was wincing in disgust at was one of his best friends, Hana Takahashi. She wasn’t mean to him, she was nice to him actually. Just- when others weren’t around of course.
“Ew! Why the hell did you still come to school with that big of a bite mark on your hand?! That’s gross!” Suzuki raised his hand up in defense as if to guard himself from the sight.
Takahashi squaked in offense, “Because I was already near the school when he bit me!” She rubs her hand, the spot where the bite mark seemed to be. “The freak just jumped at me out of nowhere!”
Suzuki shakes his head, “The one time your parents don’t take you to school..”
Izuku blocks the rest of the conversation out. A man bit her? Why on earth would a man bite someone? Was it a mutation quirk or something? Could’ve been that. Some mutations still have animal instincts.
The science teacher was finally ready to give the lesson. He put his book down on his desk while adjusting his glasses. He turned to write on the board, the words ‘Midterm Exam’ soon took over the whole board.
A lot of his classmates groaned and complained. He too wanted to complain but he’d receive more backlash than the other students. I mean it is quite fair that they were complaining, the science teacher didn’t give a warning and none of the other teachers in the school have even mentioned midterm exams.
The science teacher scolded the class, claiming that it’s better we take a surprise test to see how much we really know and how much we’ve been paying attention. Sometimes it seems like he wants the students to fail.
His classmates sigh in defeat as the paper tests get handed out. He let out a sigh too as he picked up his pencil and began writing.
Not too much time since the test had begun had passed until he heard uncontrollable coughing from the front of the room. He glanced up for a few moments, it was Takahashi.
The cough didn't sound majorly concerning, the teacher thought so too since all he did was tell Takahashi to quiet down. It was rude. Takahashi mutters out a small apology before going back to her exam.
About an hour passed, Izuku was done with the exam by then. The teacher didn’t allow students that were already done to do anything else since it apparently would distract the ones still taking the test.
A watery cough was heard. He turned to Takahashi again, assuming it was her. Her mouth was covered by her hand, the other gripping her stomach in pain.
“Takahashi, do you need to step out of class for a moment?” The science teacher leans on his desk, taking off his glasses. He doesn’t look concerned, just annoyed. “Perhaps you should see the nurse.”
At that comment, Suzuki was quick to stand up and raise his hand. “I’ll take her!” Their science teacher narrowed his eyes on Suzuki and his paper. Suzuki was not even near to done with the test.
Nonetheless, The teacher sighed and dismissed them. “Fine, but you’ll stay in to finish that test.” Suzuki wilted a bit at that, he clearly saw this as an opportunity to skip the test.
As soon as Suzuki and Takahashi were out the door, the teacher demanded that everyone keep working. There was only 20 minutes until it was time to change classes, he could manage.
—
Soon enough lunch rolls around and of course, that doesn't go well either.
Kacchan as well as his two lackeys, Negai Tesaki and Kemuri Hashiga had cornered him. They claimed that he was avoiding them on purpose which was apparently very offensive to them.
Excuse him for wanting a peaceful school day.
In the end all it got him was a bruised wrist. They hadn’t done much today, guess they weren’t up to it today.
The nurse sure won’t be up to deal with him either. He’s been in her office too many times these past few weeks. She’s not really tired of him, just tired of the fact he’s getting hurt. She had offered him a place in her office to eat lunch at but he refused.
Any staff member of the school ‘favoring’ the quirkless student will come off bad for both of them. He didn’t want to ruin her reputation nor did he want to be called a suck up.
Of course, he’s not the only one she’s offered that to. Many others besides him were bullied. It was either that or they simply just liked her enough to stay in her office for breaks. He knows if he went in though, he’d be an outcast even to those who were bullied too. They were bullied for their quirks; they didn’t need to be friends with Izuku to make it worse.
The nurse was decent to him, that’s all he needed. He didn’t need to stick by her side all the time, he could handle whatever his classmates decide to do to him anyways.
When Izuku slides open the door to the nurse’s office he’s met with a strong metallic smell. He covers his nose walking further into the room. It’s oddly quiet for an office where at least 5 students eat in.
He opens a door that leads into the infirmary part of the room thinking she must be there then. Takahashi hadn't been at lunch so maybe she was still here and the nurse was checking up on her.
The metallic smell got stronger but that’s not what made Izuku’s face twist in disgust.
It was the fact that Takahashi and the nurse were eating the students that usually come here.
