Summary
Izuku is technically a runaway, not technically homeless, was adopted by cats, and doesn't get enough human interaction.
He has eaten things he'd rather not think about, accidentally done some vigilantism, has a maybe slightly forced positive disposition, and a grand total of two motivations in life that keep him laser-focused on the future instead of processing his daily hardships in any capacity -- healthy or otherwise.
He's got his work cut out for him, but he's never had a better chance to be a hero.
He thinks he's doing pretty well, all things considered. Despite his circumstances and the lies he must tell to make his dreams happen, nothing will distract him from it. Not even the tired scowl of a cat-loving, too-sharp teacher with a built-in bullshit detector, honing in on him from day one.

Izuku lives a tough life after his mom dies, and being a magnet for trouble, he doesn’t have time to think about anything except his next meal and the roof over his head, using his quirk to survive while he strives to follow his dream of being a hero. Lucky for him, he has an innate gift for being adopted by anything with a parental instinct. Whether it's a clowder of cats or a pro hero.

Summary
He doesn't need to eat very often, though it's hard to resist when people smell so good. He can survive on a package or two of raw meat once a month or so. It’s not pleasant to be hungry all the time and surrounded by food, but it is what it is. The idea of eating people, dead or alive, is enough of a deterrent.

“What’s your name, kid?” Shouta blurted the question in a rare moment of impulse.
The child only glances at him, chewing his lip with anxious eyes like he’s done something wrong, before making his move on their sand board. “Iz-Izuku. What’s your name, M-Mr?”
“Aizawa Shouta. Nice to meet you, Izuku-kun.” Manners taste weird, Shouta decides as he gives a polite nod.
Yamada and Aizawa have been married for three years now, together for five, and despite still being fairly young and just getting a handle on being pro heroes they’ve decided they want to start a family together, starting by going to a children’s home for a visit and playing with the kids to figure out what they’re getting into, with the intent of eventually adopting when their careers become stable. But no one told them that sometimes it's the kid that chooses, not the parents, and the universe is a bit impatient to see a certain green haired child's happiness.

Shouta's gaze moved to his hand, where a tiny, chubbier one wrapped around his index finger.
He looked at the kid whose eyes are puffy, red, and shiny like he's been crying and giant green irises stared at Shouta’s hand with a level of focus that only a child can have. He turned his gaze to the mother intending to get her attention but the notion died as he scanned the woman, distracted with a not-so-good looking phone call if the worried frown pinching her face and her fingers wringing in the front of her cardigan is any indication.
He sighed and let the kid play with his fingers, cooperating by turning his hand over when it was gently tugged, and watched the toddler count the lines on his palm in tiny murmurs and intense concentration, poking each one as he went, tired little sniffles every few seconds filling the silence. Looks like Shouta isn’t the only one who had a shitty day.

Aizawa Shouta, a new prohero, planned on getting some sleep on the train after a long exhausting day, like he always does, before heading back to the police station, but his plans get left at the train stop when a young mother and her toddler board his train.

Summary
Welcome to my wip series, home of the stories I am unsure about the endings for and thus stare down the barrel of possibly never being completed but they're too good not to share.
With this series, my hope is I will have a second wind of inspiration or these will gain enough interest to motivate and inspire me to continue them, and with a little luck, spawn an ending out of the void.
Either way, I'm tired of them sitting in my archives collecting dust while their prospective futures grow dim. At the very least I hope they can be of some entertainment, cause a laugh, bring some comfort or excitement, provide an escape pod from the world, and possibly inspire other stories to be made.
Unfortunately, this also means these stories are not guaranteed updates. Let me say that again for those in the back, these are NOT GUARANTEED TO HAVE UPDATES. They'll only be updated when inspiration strikes and are subject to being discontinued if I decide to abandon the idea. There's also less editing and general polishing. These are the scrappy first-drafters. So read at your own risk.

This is inspired by the lovely fic Sunflower, whose even lovelier author allowed me to draw some details from it, since I haven’t watched MHA myself and am just very well acquainted with the fandom.

So when Deku comes back as a ghost and starts seriously messing with Katsuki's life - from his relationship with All Might and One For All to his path towards enrolling at UA - you'd think Katsuki would be angry.
