   Summary

   Wukong broke him. Took everything from him. How could he not expect Macaque to get revenge? Even if he could count on Macaque being afraid to hurt him directly, could he count on revenge not extending to the ones he loves?

   It’s only fair. Macaque had to build himself back from the broken pieces that Wukong left him with. He took Macaque’s eye, and now he’ll take the eye of whoever Wukong loves most.

   Or

   Macaque loses an eye and his lover, gains a friend and a debt, gets trapped on the villain’s side and then gets revenge.
