   Summary

   A vampire spawn crawls from the wreckage of a crashed nautiloid to find himself alone on an unfamiliar beach. He takes off into the wilderness, narrowly missing the cleric of Shar he refused to bail out as she begins her quest for a cure, as well as the Blade of Frontiers scrambling to get his bearings with a brand new tadpole behind his good eye. He wanders for days until his hunger introduces him to a new companion.
