Scott did it… Scott actually did it… He actually killed both himself and her… For what exactly?… Pearl wondered about this for what felt like ages but she eventually opened her eyes.
She saw a white void of nothingness (Strange that doesn’t usually happen when someone dies!) but she saw someone floating just further ahead of her.
Her eyes focused on the woman, she wore a plain white robe that was frayed on the sleeves and rims, her raven hair was splayed out, she seemed angry but content.
Pearl spoke out “Hey are you okay!” The woman startled and looked towards her with shock. “Who are you?!” The woman asked.
“My name is Pearl!” She exclaimed.
“How did you end up here Pearl?” The woman questioned.
“I don’t really know… Well all I know is that my Soulmate/Soulbound killed himself and it also killed me.” Pearl answered.
“Interesting… but you don’t know why you’re here?” The woman inquired.
“No, usually we go back to whatever world we were on before we were taken into the death game!” Pearl explained.
“Actually… I’ve told you mine but What’s your name?” Pearl asked.
“Oh, My name is Lady Bone Demon or LBD for short.” LBD said.
They talked for awhile about how each of their worlds work and how they died. They are both surprised at the fact that they enjoy the other’s company.
“Hey Pearl?” LBD asked.
“Yes, LBD?” Pearl answered.
“…What’s that?” LBD pointed to a familiar screen in the space not to far away.
“Oh! That’s my re-spawn button that I was telling you about!… Guess it’s time to go back to life!” Pearl sighed.
LBD looked up and joined in with a sigh of her own. Pearl looked back at her, put a hand on her shoulder and looked her in the eye.
“I’ll figure out how to get you out of here, okay?…!… you said you could possess people right?” Pearl questioned.
“Yes… I can… but why does that matter I’ve lost my powers in here!” LBD said.
“I’ll bring a piece of your soul back with me and we can build up your strength, have some fun, and continue your goal!” Pearl gushed.
LBD smiled and she handed over a piece of her soul and it wisps around her with enthusiasm. It was cold but that’s what she expected from the demon of bone and ice.
Pearl turned to look at the button, her gaze hardened and she took a moment to wonder about Scott but it was a fleeting moment and definitely not a thought she wanted to have.
With one final dead breath, she pushed Re-spawn and felt the warm tingling spread throughout her body except for the wisp of LBD soul in her.
The light overwhelmingly bright engulfed her and she closed her eyes.
