Summary
After the Pleasure ship she worked on was raided and sunk by pirates, Hetty finds herself floating alone at sea for days, in a bathtub that likely cost more than everything she had ever owned. A heavy night's rain left her vessel barely staying afloat, and she was about to lose all hope of survival. That was until she saw a light through the darkness. As the current drifted her closer, the flickering sign came into view:
'Baratie'
With no food or water, she had little option but to head for the dock of the floating restaurant and plead for help. Standing at the door in her soiled uniform and salt-matted hair, she lifted a hand and knocked, wondering if it would be opened by a friendly hand or slammed back in her face.
