    alex and henry share a magical night (and morning) in paris, but they have to leave and go their separate ways. and all alex thinks about on the home is how he regrets leaving, how he wants to love henry, but he can't. it was never supposed to be them. just casual. they're over now.

    alex thinks about henry's promise - "i'll bring you here again one day" - and know he didn't mean it. he couldn't. and alex has to sit on the sidelines and watch, knowing he can't stand the thought of henry in paris with somebody else.
