   Catra’s hand dropped from her forehead, cupping her cheek and caressing it with her thumb. She leaned forward.

   Adora leaned in. Desperate to hold onto her for just a moment more. To pretend they were fine. No war. No pain. No betrayal. Just them. The way it was always meant to be.

   Adora grasped the hand on her cheek, holding it there as Catra’s expression softened even more as they both moved impossibly closer to one another. She felt Catra’s nose bump against hers, felt the ghost of her lips against her own.
