Cold Forbidden Love

Summary:

A Vladimir Putin x Alexander Lukashenko fanfiction.

Notes:

I originally posted this on Wattpad when I was in the 8th grade. Since I use this website more now, I figured I would post this fanfic here.

5:30 A.M
Moscow, Russia

Putin woke up to his alarm, feeling the crisp winter air hit him. He rubbed his eyes, got up from his bed, and walked to his bathroom to brush his teeth. While brushing his teeth, he felt a sudden sickness in his stomach. However, this wasn't a regular stomachache. This felt like anxiety. After that, he made his bed and came downstairs to make his favorite breakfast meal, porridge, tvorog, and honey. However, when he took a bite, it tasted like dry cardboard. "I know I'm anxious about something...but what?" Putin wondered. Then, it hit him. He had noticed that Lukashenko had been very distant from him recently. He even declined his invitation to go skiing with him! Then, Putin snapped back to reality, choked down the rest of his breakfast, and went to his office. All he could think about was how Lukashenko had been distant. While he was pretty sure he had not changed his political views and was trying to break away from Russian influence, he hasn't hung out with him as much recently.
Putin turned on his computer. He stared at his wallpaper, which was a photo of him and Lukashenko on a skiing bench while they were smiling and had their arms wrapped around each other's shoulders. He sighed, thinking he wouldn't be able to experience these moments anymore. Then, he went to his emails and the first email he saw was from him. Lukashenko. The email was simply titled "Important." It read "Dear Putin, can we please meet at my place today? We have to talk about something significant. -Love, Lukashenko." Putin started to feel nervous. "Would this be the end of our friendship?" He thought. He got in his car and drove to Belarus. When he got to the Palace of the Republic in Minsk, he entered the building and was immediately greeted by Lukashenko. "Hello there, good old friend!" He joyfully said. Putin and he hugged and kissed each other on the cheek. Then, they went down to his office and Lukashenko made two cups of coffee for the two of them.
"So, there's been something I've been wanting to tell you," Lukashenko said while fidgeting with his hands. "What is it?" Putin asked. "So, please don't be angry at me, but I've liked you for a while. Since you became Russia's president, I've been in love with you. You're just so handsome, kind, and powerful. I've never thought I would have feelings for a guy, especially a guy like you! I've felt very insecure about my homosexuality, so I began to hate them A LOT. I even said I would shoot down everyone if there were a pride parade in Minsk. However, when you said something bad about gay people, I felt hurt. I felt like I couldn't be in a relationship with you. I'm sorry if you find me disgusting now, I just couldn't keep these feelings in anymore." Lukashenko confessed. He looked like he was about to cry.
Putin was shocked. He never thought his best friend would have a crush on him. He felt...weird. It wasn't in a good or bad way, but it felt like all his past questions about his feelings and emotions were answered. Putin realized something he should've known for a while. He had loved Lukashenko and didn't know how to describe his feelings. Putin started to feel warm and cozy on the inside. "Lukashenko...I like you too. I didn't know how to describe my feelings, but I've always had an attachment to you. I felt nervous this morning because I thought we were becoming more distant!" Putin comforted him. "Really! So, would you be my boyfriend?" Lukashenko happily asked. "Sure!" Putin answered. They both kissed and hugged each other. "Wait! What about our wives?!" Lukashenko exclaimed. "It's our little secret. To our families and the whole world." Putin stated.
