Chapter Text

In the beginning...

...before the six singularities at the dawn of creation, came the  CELSTIALS , Arishem, the Prime Celestial. Created the first sun and brought light into the universe. Life began and thrived and all was in balance.

Until an unnatural species of predator emerged from deep space to feed on intelligent life. They were known as  DEVIANTS . The universe was plunged into chaos.

To restore the natural order, Arishem sent  ETERNALS , immortal heroes from the planet Olympia. To eliminate the Deviants.

Eternals held unyielding faith in Arishem, until one mission led by Prime Eternal Ajak, changed everything.

Don't get involved with the wars and affairs of humans. That was the one rule given to them by Arishem and enforced by their wise leader Ajak. But Apolla had never been one to follow the rules, she just wanted to help people. 

After the Eternals killed what they thought at the time was the last of the deviants and went their separate ways, after a while of sitting back and doing nothing like she was supposed to, Apolla got tired of doing nothing so she became the Golden Archer (appropriately named by the public because of her bow which glowed gold when she touched it), a vigilante who was first seen during the Battle of New York.

After the Battle which led to the capture of Loki who led the army of chitauri aliens that attacked the city, Apolla was approached by Fury who had seen her in the fight from the footage, and he asked her to join the Avengers and she agreed, it was a way that she could use her abilities to help people once again.

She grew close to the team in no time and they became like her second family, they all knew that she wasn't human, and she couldn't lie to them if she wanted them to trust her but she never told them the details or anything, and they understood that she couldn't tell them everything because it could be dangerous if she were to be found out, since she wasn't supposed to get involved. She didn't even give her real name she chose to go by an alias Celeste James, she still held a piece of who she was and she also always wore a golden hood and mask to mask her identity whenever she was out in public on missions with the team.

Then we fast forward to the end, the battle with Thanos, Apolla knew that she wasn't supposed to interfere but what kind of person would she be if she just let Tony, the father of her goddaughter Morgan, die when she could use the stones and survive... and so in a split second decision, Apolla took the stones right before Tony could snap and did it herself.

Apolla saved the world, destroyed Thanos, and saved Tony Stark's life all by breaking the rules.

In which the Avengers are all transported into a theater room to watch the future and learn the truth about who their teammate and friend Celeste James really is. They are finally able to learn all the things that she couldn't tell them.

In which the Avengers watch The Eternals.

There was a bright light and a group of people were all transported into the room.

They were all left unconscious on the floor.

The blonde Eternal was the first to awaken and she smiled sadly as she took in her surroundings the room minus the big screen looked like the inside of the Domo which had been Apolla's home for so long and she kind of missed it and the others as well.

Tony Stark was the next to awaken, he looked around confused he saw Apolla or Celeste as they know her "Celeste? What's going on here?"

The blonde shrugged "I have no idea Tony I just woke up and we were all here."

Pepper was next to wake up and she looked at Tony and Celeste confused "What's going on?"

Tony looked at his fiancé "We're not sure yet, Pep."

Everyone else came too after that one by one, Tony took notice of Steve Rogers, and Bucky Barnes and glared at them, still a little bitter about how things went down. He had the right to know that the Winter Soldier killed his parents and Steve knew that and still didn't tell him.

Apolla shook her head with a sigh, she was disappointed in the way things were handled about the whole Accords situation between the team. But she understood Tony's hostility toward the two.

Steve also glared at Tony, because in his eyes Tony was the one at fault for the whole Accords situation but really they were both at fault.

Bucky didn't meet Tony's glare, he also knew that Tony had every right to be hostile towards him, he might not have been in control of his actions because of the brainwashing that Hydra put him through but it was still him that killed Tony's parents whether he was in control or not.

Wanda smiled at Apolla she owed everything to the blonde Eternal, because of Apolla her twin brother was saved, without her Pietro would have died. The blonde nodded back at her with a small smile.

The blond Maximoff grinned at the Eternal, she had become somewhat of an older sister to the twins.

Because of Apolla, Wanda, and Pietro had smoothed things over with Tony, they explained why they hated him so much in the beginning, and in turn, he explained his end of it and they came to an understanding.

Bruce, looked at Thor and Loki wondering how the three of them got there from the ship they were on.

Tony noticed Bruce "Bruce buddy is that you? Where have you been?"

Bruce scratched his neck awkwardly "uhhh hey Tony... that's a bit of a long story."

Clint and Natasha shared a look both on alert weapons ready to be drawn if needed.

Once everyone was awake there was a voice that spoke, "Hello everyone you are probably all wondering what is going on and we'll I'm going to show you the future, as well as the life of your friend and teammate Celeste James, and yes Celeste before you even ask I was given permission to show this to you all... now just sit back and enjoy the movie snacks will be provided if you want them and also breaks will be provided as well as sleeping arrangements because we are going to be here a while.."

Everyone took their seats curious to learn more about Celeste as she had told them she couldn't tell them everything for their own safety.

"There will be a few more people joining us after this movie because we have more to watch after this but I will explain more about that when the time comes."
