    The Butterfly Effect is the idea that the smallest things can have large impacts in complex systems, such as the infinitesimal waft of air in the flap of a butterfly’s wings causing enough draft to snowball into a hurricane or the idea that one small change can shift the entire course of reality.

    This is an AU of sorts, a slightly shifted rewrite of the HBO adaptation exploring motherhood and grief. So much is the same and so much is different due to one tiny change - Tess lives.
