“Scar, what are you doing?” Grian asks, voice a mix of fond and exasperated as he sees his partner duck behind a statue, giggling.
“You can’t see me!” he replies, giggling more.
Grian shakes his hand, unable to help but laugh, approaching the statue, “Oh no, where ever could my boyfriend have gone?”
Scar’s laughter increases, although it’s clear he tries to stifle it this time. He doesn’t reply, clearly trying to actually commit to this bit.
Grian makes sure his approach is slow and quiet, not wanting to alert Scar. Once close enough, he jumps out around it, “Boo!”
Scar yelps, scrambling away, running further into the garden. Grian laughs, deciding to entertain whatever game of hide and seek Scar started.
Of course with Scar actually running away from him, Grian doesn’t easily know where he went. He keeps his head on a swivel, looking for anywhere his boyfriend could hide.
Grian soon comes across the tall fountain in the center, made up of a few layers with an Angel statue standing tall. Well, that could certainly do. As he walks around it, he hears footsteps from the other side.
Despite his changes in pace, Scar is somehow able to keep on the opposite side of him. After a while of this, Grian suddenly changes direction, jumping around.
Scar jolts, going to turn around, but Grian moves quickly and latches onto his arm. Except in his haste in his leap, he miscalculates and his momentum and sends them both to the ground.
Scar lets out a wheezing breath as Grian lands right on top of him, but they both burst into laughter moments later. Grian drops his head onto Scar’s chest as Scar wraps his arms around him.
