Work Text:
“You…you programmed them to what?”
“To…pick up goats, and put them in trees? I just said that. See?”
Sure enough, there were several small goats up in the tree before them. “Well…yeah, I know that, but…why?”
“Because…I wanted goats in the tree? I seriously can’t see what you’re not understanding.”
Before the white collar could ask, a small orange helicopter-like robot whizzed past him, gripping another bleating bovid in its rounded pincers as it hovered over the tree. The creature was placed on a free branch, ‘mehing’ as the robot buzzed off to search for more fuzzy goats.
“Where…where are the Helis getting the goats?”
The mechanic turned to him with genuine confusion. “Why would I know? They just find the goats and bring them to the trees.”
Another Heli hovered past him, and he sighed. “I just…I…I have no words.”
The mechanic turned back, grinning. “Sure you do! There’s goats in the trees, because I programmed Helis to do that. Simple as that.”
“We seriously need to stop you from accessing the Helis’ code ever again.”
