𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗮; 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 '𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁' 𝗮𝗻𝗱 '𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹' 𝗮𝗻𝗱 '𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁'. The name was quite fitting, considering she was the daughter of the God of The Sun and Light... along with many other things. Helena was a bright and sunny young girl, always seen with a smile on her face, lighting up any room that she was in—She was like her father in that aspect. Her hair was a gold as the sun and her eyes as blue as the sky it was seen in. Her skin was tanned, and the apples of her cheeks were covered in light freckles. And her smile... her smile was slightly crooked—It was endearing and her half-siblings also held the same crooked smile. However, just because she was bright and smiley, didn't mean that she wasn't competitive, or sarcastic or bluntly honest like most of her siblings were.

But her main talents lay in medicine and archery, which was quite unusual, as most children of Apollo held efficiency for either one or the other. In fact, the day that she turned 9 years old, her father gifted her a bracelet with two charms—The Sun and The Moon. The Sun charm held a beautifully crafted golden bow, which Chiron told her was made by Hephaestus himself, and a quiver of arrows appeared on her back, the arrows never running out and appearing back in the quiver. The Moon charm held a shimmering sword that glistened in the moonlight. Apollo was known to gift all his children a gift on their 9th birthday, but it was known to all that Apollo held a special interest in Helena—Many knew that she was his favourite.

His arrival allowed her to finally join the quests she had been longing to join, and that included her good friend Annabeth, the daughter of Athena. They fought in wars, Helena almost died in Tartarus, but soon the wars were finished and the children were allowed to rest... They were allowed to grow up. And Helena decided to follow her father's advice and train to become a surgeon, wanting to save lives instead of take them.

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱. Helena applied to medical school and she graduated first in her class at Harvard. She then got into her first choice at Seattle Grace Hospital, a place where it was known to rain almost all the time. Helena went and become known as the "Ray of sunshine that Seattle Grace needed". Helena became the sunshine to Meredith and Cristina's grey and storminess. She became a person to love and trust to everyone who met her... sometimes. And she became the Light in Alex Karev's dark life… along with a certain someone from her past.
