Freddy powered on.
His memory files told him that it was the first time he had done so. All his systems took a minute to operate. After a few minutes, his cameras, located in his eyes, turned on allowing his main system to receive and process images. This made it possible for him to mimic human sight!
Everything was quite overwhelming at first. The room was so bright as his cameras took a minute to adjust. Eventually, he could look around comfortably. He was programmed with a very detailed internal map to allow him to always know where he was in the Pizzaplex. According to this, Freddy was in Parts and Service.
He looked around and quickly spotted a person standing in front of him. This must be the person who turned him on.
"Hello there," said Freddy cheerfully.
"Hi. I'm going to ask you some questions real quick, okay?" The unknown person said promptly while looking down at something in their hands. Freddy now noticed they were holding a clipboard.
"Sounds good, Superstar," he said.
"Great. Firstly, can you tell me your full description?" The person made sure to emphasize the word "full."
"Of course! My name is Freddy Fazbear. I am the leader of the Glamrock band and the face of Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex!" Freddy said while still looking at the person in front of him. They checked off something on their clipboard.
"Could you give me a rundown of the roles you and your bandmates play while on stage?"
"While performing, our job, the very reason we were built, is to entertain! We have specific protocols and procedures in place to make sure the shows go smoothly. Roxanne Wolf plays the keytar, Montgomery Gator plays the bass, Chica Chicken plays the guitar, and I am the lead singer of the band! We are all programmed with the ability to play our instruments and dance and we use these skills on stage to perform," Freddy said swiftly. The person checked something on the clipboard again.
"Okay, you're doing great. Now, could you scan me and inform me of the information you receive from it?"
"Yes, one minute please." Freddy's eyes lit up and illuminated the person in front of him. The light from his eyes moved down their body then disappeared.

"You have been working for Fazbear Entertainment for 3 years and are a Main Technician for.. me! I did not know I had a Main Technician, what is a Main Technician?" Freddy asked after giving Ashley the information.
"Okay.. all good... I didn't know animatronics could read temperatures, why don't they tell us this stuff?" Ashley muttered under her breath as she checked off another box on their clipboard. They looked up after realizing that Freddy had asked her a question.
"Oh! Sorry about that. You don't know what a Main Technician is?" Ashley asked, slight confusion presenting on her face.
"No, I do not. My database tells me that it is a job position here at the Pizzaplex, but it does not show me a description. Should I know what a Main Technician is?" Freddy asked, curiously.
"I'm not sure. The higher-ups didn't exactly tell us everything we needed to know to properly "check up" on you. They just gave us this brief checklist," Ashley said, sounding slightly annoyed.
"I see... That sounds quite tiring, Ashley," Freddy said.
"Yeah, it definitely is. Also, you can just call me Ash," she said.
"Ash, hmm? The database has no record of this nickname. Would you like me to put in a formal request to have this changed?" Freddy asked. Ash started to chuckle at Freddy's eagerness to help in any way he could.
"No, no, it's fine, Freddy. It's just a nickname I give to people that I like. I thought I would give it to you because we'll be working together a lot since I'm your Main Technician."
"Oh right! You still don't know what that is. Sorry... A Main Technician is a technician who works with a specific animatronic. So I'm your Main Technician, and all the other animatronics have their own Main Technician. I'm the one who built you," Ashley said, trying her best to properly explain it."
"You built me?" Freddy asked.
"Yep. Me, along with a small group of other technicians put ya together," Ash said, slight pride showing on their features.
"Well, I must thank you greatly, Ash. Without you, I wouldn't be here." Freddy smiled.
"Don't sweat it, big guy."
"I do have one other question though. Where are the other animatronics and their Main Technicians?" Freddy looked around. "It seems we are the only ones in Part and Service."
"Yeah, we certainly are. The other animatronics haven't been built yet. Although, Roxanne Wolf's Main Technician is currently working on her at a secondary location," Ash answered.
"Oh... I see. Why not just build all of the animatronics at the same time?" Freddy asked.
"Well, we're pretty understaffed and most of the technician staff are needed around the Plex to help with electrical stuff, on top of being needed for building the animatronics. So we're only able to have one animatronic being worked on at a time."
"It doesn't help that a Main Technician only gets about one or two other technicians to help them build an animatronic. The Main Technician along with their small group are specifically trained to work with their assigned animatronic. This is because Fazbear Entertainment has this weird system where all the animatronics' blueprints are vastly different. So for example, your blueprint was so different from Roxy's. It makes it difficult for Main Technicians and their small group to help other Main Technicians, which makes the process even slower," Ash said.
"How.. strange," Freddy pondered.
"Yeah, you would think animatronics that have the same basic functions would be built the same way, but I guess not. Anyway, as much as I enjoy talking to you, I still have some things to check off on my checklist," Ash said while looking down at her clipboard once more.
"Oh, that is correct. I apologize for letting us lose track of time. Please, continue where you left off," Freddy said while putting his hand on his chest in an apologetic manner.
"It's fine, Freddy, no biggie. I just need to check if your internal clock and calendar are correct. So, can you please tell me what time and day it is?"
"It is 3:04 p.m. on Saturday, June 24th, 2023," Freddy said. Ash checked off a box on their checklist.
"Okay, this is the last thing. All I need to do is make sure your cameras are working properly and receiving the correct inputs. So, can you describe my physical appearance?"
"Yes, of course." Freddy surveyed Ash.
"Skin color: Brown

Eye Color: Brown
Additional Details: Clothing can be described as blue overalls with a multi-colored flower on the front pocket, along with a plain white T-shirt under the overalls. Hair length can be described as falling just below the shoulders," Freddy says while flashing Ash a sheepish smile.
"I can include more detail than that if you need me to. My program just forces me to give a very.. concise description. This is helpful in many situations although, right now, it made me seem.. too formal, in my opinion," Freddy added.
"No that's alright, Freddy," Ash said, then chuckled to herself. "I don't mind your formality." Ash then checked off the last box on her checklist.
"Ok.. perfect! We're all done with the check-up," Ash said.
"Wonderful," Freddy added.
"Yep, you're free to do whatever you'd like now. Your internal map should tell you all the areas that are still being worked on and therefore inaccessible, correct?"
"Correct, the only areas that are currently accessible are the Atrium, Main Entrance, Daycare, Rockstar Row, and Parts and Service. All of the attractions located in the Atrium, along with the Cinema and Utility Tunnels are being constructed as we speak and are marked red on my internal map," Freddy answered.
"Okay, the Monitoring Team will periodically check in with you with some more advanced tests. I dunno what kind of tests, but I was told to give you a kind of "heads-up." My only advice is to not mess with the Building Crew while they're working. They're nice, but do not like being disturbed while busy," Ash looked up at Freddy and smiled at him. "That's all, big guy, you can go roam around or, I don't know, whatever you want to do."
"By.. myself?" Confusion was evident on Freddy's face.
"Yeah, you'll be fine on your own," Ash said, her smile still radiating positivity.
"What will you be doing then?" Freddy asked.
"Well, Faz Entertainment requires me to stay here at least 3 days after powering you on, just to make sure you don't completely malfunction or something. And most of the technicians that are working around the Plex already informed me that I'm not needed currently. So after staying here for 3 days, I'll probably just go home. I might go and try to help Rob later, even if I don't think I'll be much help." Ash noticed Freddy's blank stare. "Rob is Roxy's Main Technician," they clarified.
"Oh, I see, that is very nice of you to want to help Rob. Although I must admit, I am somewhat concerned regarding your departure. What if I do indeed have a malfunction while you are gone?" Freddy asked, anxiety lacing his robotic voice. Ash moved her hand to hold Freddy's arm in a comforting manner.
"Don't worry, Freddy. I will be immediately alerted if anything in your systems seems wrong or out of place. On top of that, you have the ability to contact my employee fazwatch if you feel anything is not right or even if you just want to ask me questions," Ash said calmly, trying her best to comfort the animatronic bear's worries.
"Oh, yes, I see the operation in my systems that would allow me to contact you. I apologize for my worries, Ash, I am sure I will be just fine. I am going to go explore the Pizzaplex now, to get a better understanding of my surroundings," Freddy said.
"That's the spirit!" Ash proceeded to playfully hit Freddy on the arm she was previously holding for comfort. "Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions, have fun," She said, as Freddy was walking out of Parts and Service.
Freddy headed out of Parts and Service and towards the Main Stage. He pushed the button located in the center of the stage lift and let it take him up to the Atrium.
