Summary
It’s supposed to be a nice time for everyone to relax and have the opportunity to hang out and really get to know each other.
But Natalie isn’t having a good time. She’s spent the last fifteen minutes watching Lottie, which is usually a great time. But this time is different, because there’s a new girl that joined the community last week that has been following Lottie around like a lost puppy and staring at her with stupid doe eyes. And she’s currently talking to Lottie, still looking at her Lottie like that, and Natalie is over it. Lottie is smiling and laughing along, unknowingly feeding into the girl, laying a light hand on her arm as they speak. Nat wonders if Lottie sees the way the girl’s smile widens when Lottie’s hand is on her arm, or if she genuinely doesn’t notice it.
