Izuku fidgeted in the passenger seat of Katsuki's car. He was so nervous he shook a little.
They had been dating for about 2 months now. Katsuki had been to Izuku's apartment plenty of times, but Izuku hadn't been to his boyfriend's condo yet. He wouldn't have been so nervous if he knew he wasn't going to be judged. Katsuki had a cat. An old cranky cat that didn't like other people.
"Relax nerd." Katsuki said putting a hand on his boyfriend's knee. "She's mean but she's not that mean."
Izuku turned to Katsuki with a nervous smile. "I just want her to like me…"
"She'll like you."
"How are you so sure?"
Katsuki sighed. "Look, I like you. So she'll like you." He admitted.
Izuku blushed, that was the first time Katsuki admitted his feelings for the smaller man. "I like you too Kacchan." /I just hope she likes me./ He thought to himself.
Katsuki pulled into his parking spot at his condo. He got out and went to the other side to let Izuku out. He may be crass but he was a gentleman.
Izuku was impressed by the outside already as Katsuki led him inside. He forgot his boyfriend had money. He looked around the condo, not seeing anything out of the ordinary. Until he heard a loud raspy meow and looked down.
"Hey you little shit, miss me?" Katsuki asked the cat, smirking. He picked up the old, scraggly, tortoiseshell cat who started purring in his arms. "This is Phoenix, Phoenix meet Deku."
Izuku said "Hi", waving at the cat a little with a nervous smile.
The cat looked up at Izuku with her amber eyes, as if glaring at him. /How dare you take up more of my servant's time!/
Izuku swore that's what she was telling him with her eyes. He moved slowly to pet Phoenix only to be met with a clawed paw and a hiss.
"You little shit!" Katsuki scolded Phoenix, putting her down. "You okay Deku?" He asked, frowning, checking his boyfriend's hand.
"I-i-it's fine. It's just a scratch." Izuku tried to smile as he looked up at Katsuki.
The blonde wasn't buying it. "You're bleeding, I'll get you a bandaid nerd." He said and left for the bathroom.
Izuku indeed had a deep scratch on his hand. This is what he was afraid of. That Phoenix would hate him and Katsuki would break up with him. He had started crying by the time Katsuki came back.
"Oh for fucks… did she get you again?" Katsuki swore, leading his boyfriend to the couch to clean him up.
"No," Izuku sniffled.
Katsuki rolled his eyes. He knew Izuku was a crybaby but this was ridiculous. He cleaned the greenette up and put the band-aid on. "You wanna tell me what the water works are really for?" He asked, brushing the tears of his freckled cheeks.
Izuku sniffled, trying to calm down. It didn't work as Phoenix jumped on the back of the couch with a smug look. "You-you're going to break up with me!" He wailed.
"What the… the fuck gives you that idea?!" Katsuki pulled Izuku to him to try and calm him down. The smaller male was being dramatic, but Katsuki's love for the man made him want to feel better.
"Ph-phoenix doesn't like me!" Izuku explained as more tears fell.
Katsuki rolled his eyes. "I'm not going to break up with you because my cat scratched you."
"The Internet-!"
"I don't give a shit what the internet says!" Katsuki spat. "Look Izuku," Oh, the blonde was serious. He was using his real name. "She's an old cat who barely trusts me sometimes. Give her time."
Izuku looked up at Katsuki with big green doe eyes, frowning. "Really?" He asked, unsure.
Katsuki kissed his boyfriend's forehead. "Yes." He said with a small smile. "Now dry your tears and make yourself at home. I'm making you katsudon." He said matter of fact.
"Kay!" Izuku dried his tears and smiled before his boyfriend left to go to the kitchen.

After dinner they cuddled on the couch watching an old All Might movie. Katsuki's nose was buried in Izuku's hair while the other had his head on the blonde's chest.
Suddenly Phoenix jumped in Katsuki's lap and stared at Izuku. He jumped a little but didn't move or cry. She then did something that made Katsuki smile. She head-butted the greenette's hand and started purring.
"There now, see, he's not so bad you little shit."
Izuku stiffened at first but then began petting her. "She… likes me?" He asked, looking up at Katsuki.
"Yeah, not as much as I like you though." The blonde admitted making Izuku blush.
"I… really like you too, Kacchan." They kissed and later ended up in the bedroom. They were even left alone until morning, when Phoenix started yowling and scratching at the closed door. The door was usually left open, and breakfast being served by now.
"I gotta feed the kitty." Katsuki groaned. He kissed Izuku before trying to extract himself from his snuggly partner.
Izuku pouted a little at first but nodded. "That's okay Kacchan. I'm kinda hungry actually."
Katsuki smiled. "What do ya want nerd?" He asked as he put on a pair of boxers and tank top.
"Pancakes?" The greenette suggested, moving to get up.
"Okay, stay here." Katsuki kissed his boyfriend again before heading toward the door. Phoenix was screaming by that point. "I'm coming, I'm coming, you little shit." He left the door open as he led his cat to the kitchen.
Izuku smiled, thinking that he had worried for nothing. That life was going to be perfect.
