Peter Parker was many things. A 4.0 GPA student, an active and frankly one of the best people on his dechathalon team, the assiant more close to adopted son of Tony Stark and Spiderman.
However all the charm and smarts basically melted from his head when around his best friend, Ned Leeds. It was truly embarrassing for Peter when he would studder like a baffon to Ned after he would flash a smile or laugh at his honestly god awful science puns. Peter was surprised that Ned hasn't called him out yet for his behaviors. And just chalked it up to the boys rejections of his feelings. He knew his friend like guys but he seemed to also be talking to Betty a lot more than he had before.

Ned had no clue has his basically a genius for a best friend (crush of like a decade) now didn't see his raging feelings for him.Don't get him wrong ,Ned knew that Peter probably didn't like him since he wasn't exactly Ryan Reynolds or anything, but still at acknowledge his longing.
Ned was tired of the quiet longing so he devised a plan. Well not him alone, he got Betty and Mj to help him plan to woo and confess to Peter. MJ had been more than happy to help surprisingly only because "you dumbasses have been dashing around each other since like 7th grade". Ned wasn't too sure what she meant by that since Peter didn't like Ned. Betty though usually kind and sweet took a little more convincing (aka helping her set up a date with MJ)

The plan was simple. Ned and Peter would met at the tower on Friday since Peter stays the weekends. They would build the flower lego set that Ned would coincidentally have with him before Ned would have somehow forgotten to mention and happen to remember about at around 6pm that Mr.Stark had given him tickets to go watch Beetlejuice on Broadway with Peter as a surprise.
Honestly Ned still doesn't know how he convinced the Billionaire to do it and why he also said to "use protection" after tossing the tickets at him.
The night would finally end with Ned and Peter getting some ice cream and going to their favorite spot where Ned would finally confess his years worth of feelings.

Peter had no clue why Ned was so jumpy and jittery around him today.It was just another Friday where the older boy would come hangout at the tower. He could see the boy checking his phone before quickly messaging about someone, probably Betty since they seemed it be getting together. It pained Peter to see Ned so intent about some one that wasn't him but he remembered he had no right to care.

School ended quickly and soon the pair was at Stark tower with the legos which had Peter shaking with excitement and Ned filled with pride seeing his hopefully soon to be boyfriend so happy. They grabbed a few snacks and got to work building the flowers.
Later on when they were about a third the way done , Ned tells Peter about the musical and Peter launches himself at the older. Shouting about how he was having the best day ever. Ned prayed that that night would ruin it.
The musical was great. Peter mouthed every word of every song while Ned watched with some much affection that it seemed his pupils would turn into litterally hearts. At some point never the end Peter grasped onto Ned's hand. Ned and Peter were both internally freaking out but enjoying the contact.
Once the show ended the two teens made there was to the ice cream shop that just happened to be open late and only about a block from their favorite view. Ned insisted on paying ,thanks to Mr.Stark giving them a "date allowance" even if Ned insisted that it wasn't a date, that included a few too many zeros for any date Ned had thought of. With ice cream in hand ,stealing bites from one another they made their way to their favorite spot. To people walking by them ,they would probably mistake the pair for two teens on an amazing date.
Finally making it to their spot they sat a little closer than normal, allowing themselves to take in the beauty that was new York City. At about a quarter pass 9 Ned finally decided that it was time.

"Hey Peter ,I have something that I really need to tell you" was all Ned could muster up seeing the other boy staring out at their city with so much adormaration.
"Whats up Ned?" Peter tried to be calm asking,he was scared this was the moment that Ned would tell him that he was dating Betty and they would have to stop hanging out.
"I've been scared to say this for a while but after all that we've been through together and tonight, I feel like I have to. Peter B Parker ,I like you so much and I know that you probably don't like me but I can't live without expressing my truth and-" Ned cut himself off when he saw Peter crying. "Oh no Peter I'm sorry please don't cry, I get it you don't like me back"
"Ned you must be stupid saying that I don't like you back I've liked you since like freshman year"
The two stared blankly at the other wondering how stupid they have been dancing around each other for years. "So are we like boyfriends now?" Ned asked glancing very shyly at Peter. "Mhmm well I could date like my best friend in the world who I like for years or you, wait thats the same person. Of course my answer is yes." Peter replied cementing the answer with a kiss on Neds check. "This officially the best day of my life, thank you Ned"

The now couple made their way back to the tower ,only to be meet with Tony Stark who asked if the two finally got their a shit together and when they said yes, he said not to "do anything he would have done" at their age which left the two red faced and Tony laughing. The boys cuddled up on the couch and watched star wars happy that one of them finally did something abt their feelings for once another.
