It's been years since we last met, I wonder if I ever cross your mind?
Do you think of me when it rains? When thunder lights up the sky?
Do you think back to the time when we would sleep the day away?
Do you remember the nights that we danced away?
Do you remember our first kiss?
It was your way of ending our argument.
You left me breathless and angry, I remember I threw a book at you and then avoided you for a month.
I remember the day you cornered me, it was after school, and I was one of the last one's to leave. My locker wouldn't open - it had a bad habit of getting stuck, and then I felt you.
Your breath against my neck and your body against mine.
Do you remember our conversation? I do.
You accused me of avoiding you while your hand played with my hair, you always did like my hair down and wild.
I didn't deny it, I was working hard to avoid you.
I can still feel your lips against mine. The ghost of a smile and I swear you could hear my heart thumping.
Do you remember my taste ? The feel of my lips or the way my body fit against yours?
Do you remember the night you left me? I gave myself to you that night. You were everything I imagined you would be - gentle, caring but most of all, you'd be mine and I'd be yours.
How silly of me to think that a man like you could be tamed. You left me and my heart in pieces that night.
I haven't heard from you since then.
I haven't gotta clue where you are and over time I stopped caring.
But, wherever you are, I think its time you knew that you left a piece of yours behind. She is five now, has your smile and your appetite, she has my wit but your charm, she is smart and strong. She is my everything.
I hope our paths cross again, only so you could finally meet your daughter - Agatha Bridgerton.
