“Thanks Chamber, I owe you one.”
“Nonsense, darling, you are in no way indebted to me.” He got his phone from the table and pressed it against the screen. A couple of blinks and the transaction was complete. You wondered how it must feel to have enough money that you can buy things without checking the price tag. Your wondering is interrupted by his sultry voice. “But if you insist I can think of a few ways you could repay me.”
Again with the flirting, you smiled, shaking your head. “You know one day you’ll say these things and I’ll take it seriously. I might even take you up on those suggestions.”
“And what’s keeping you from taking me seriously?” He spun your chair around to make you face him, his face now inches away from yours. Your face was burning, you didn’t dare breathe and as you looked in his eyes you couldn’t think of a single reason.
