WHERE AM I
I opened my eyes slowly expecting the light to blind me, but I was met with darkness, just then I took notice of the blindfold around my eyes.
'' let me go, do you hear that! I said let me go.'' I shouted really loudly with no response, this has been going for a while now, I would think I am alone in this place if I did hear movement next to me. '' LET ME GO.'' I shouted again but this time I got a groan and a '' can't you like, shut up, you've been shouting for 30 minutes.'' in return.
'' I will shut up when you let me go,'' I reasoned, '' can't do, the leader will be here soon he'll get you to shut up,''
Are those my dad's dept collectors? or is the apartment rent, maybe my mum's old friends, in any of these cases, I am fucked, that's what happens when two criminals get married and have a child, they get kidnapped.
unlucky me, I am that child.
Just then I heard the sound of a lock and steps walking closer,
'' what took you so long, the rich brat won't shut up.'' the same voice from earlier spoke, '' sorry Jennie, I had some business to finish,'' another voice said, his voice sent shivers down my spine.
I felt presence too close to me before someone started removing the shit around my eyes, when I could finally open my eyes to light it wasn't too bright, I could barely see around me.
'' Hyunjin...'' the man standing in front of me called making me look at him, who knew dept collectors can be this hot, his arms are so damn- Jeongin you stupid fucker what are you thinking about, I have to get out of here.
'' yes? '' the guy, Hyunjin, answered. ''who is this?'' the masculine guy asked looking at me weirdly, '' um, Intak? the rich boy you told us to kidnap.''
'' That's not Intak, you stupid, you kidnapped someone else.'' he's right, I am not Intak, '' does that mean I can go now? I have homework to do.''
'' Who are you?'' he asked this time to me, '' you kidnap me then ask who I am? just let me go already.'' I don't know how I sound that confident, in reality, I am shaking in fear. '' I am sorry kid; I can't let you go now.''
'' why? I am not the boy you wanted, if anything I am not even close to rich and I don't want to deal with angry Mrs. Jiho if I didn't do my homework.'' she's scarier than the kidnapper in front of me, '' bright side you won't have to deal with her, bad side, it's because you'll never get to see her again.'' I take it back he's scarier.
'' what are we going to do with him?'' Hyunjin asked looking between him and another man I just noticed he's there, '' kill him,'' the man answered casually as if I am some bug.
'' he's too cute to die, can we keep him?'' the man in front me asked. '' Chan, you're the leader, you can keep any pet you want.'' Hyunjin reminded him, '' hey! I am not a cat!'' I protested.
'' you're right, you're more of a fox,'' the third man said, '' I will call you foxy until you decide to tell us your name.'' Hyunjin smiled before getting up from his way too comfy chair, '' excuse me now I am hungry, Changbin come with me.'' he said walking outside and the third man that's even stronger than Chan followed him, leaving me and this Chan guy alone.
'' please let me go,'' All my power to act confident is now gone, I am scared, and I want all this to be over now, I can feel tears racing down my cheeks and I am shaking physically now. '' oh poor baby, don't be scared, I won't kill you I promise, I am sorry you got in all this miss, but I can't let you go, it's dangerous for everyone.'' Chan talked to me as he untied my arms.
'' please, I won't tell anyone, I swear I will stay shut about anything that happened today.'' I sobbed begging him. '' I am really sorry baby, I will make sure you won't hate your stay here, but you can't leave.''
I stood up to follow him outside of the dark room, but my legs were shaking really badly I almost fell. '' come here, let me help you.'' Chan said as he made his way back to stand in front of me, he put his hands around my waist and picked me up so my legs would be around his waist.
'' first thing we'll do is feeding this light body of yours,'' he chuckled as he walked us to another room, this time it's bright and full of modern furniture. '' tell me your name,'' he said as he placed me down on one of the couches.
I looked at him but didn't speak, '' or not, whatever you're comfortable with, mine Chan, Bang Chan,'' I nodded but didn't speak,
'' what does Hyunjin mean? how did we kidnap someone else?'' another male walked inside the room. '' you did, this is not Intak.''
'' but how? he was exactly where you told us Intak will be and he's wearing the same shirt,'' The guy looked at me confused. '' calm down, Minho, the boy is already scared we can find out when he's more relaxed.'' the Minho guy sighed and sat in the other side of me, '' I am sorry you got in this miss, you look too young and innocent to go through this,''
'' 19 '' I said looking between both of them. '' I am 19. ''
they both looked at each other for a while before Minho spoke again. '' you're the youngest here, but I am sure you and Jisung will get along, ''
'' let's go eat something now, I'll introduce you to everyone.'' Chan said before standing up followed by Minho then me, '' can you walk?'' he questioned, and I nodded.
I followed them to the dinner table where another 5 men were seated. Chan sat at the head of the table and mentioned for me to sit on the empty seat next to him.
I did and looked around at everyone around me, Hyunjin was right in front of me, on his side there was a freckled boy with blue hair, he looked cute, I had to remind myself he's a criminal.
next to him sat Changbin, and another guy I don't know next to Changbin and Minho took the seat in front of him, and lastly there's the guy next to me that I'm too shy to look at his face when we're so close to each other.
'' boys, please introduce yourselves one by one before we start eating.'' Chan ordered and they all nodded.
'' I'm Kim Seungmin, the youngest here, I am 20 in few days.'' said the guy sitting next to Changbin and I nodded without saying anything.
'' I'm Felix, or Yongbok, whatever you prefer, I'm the second youngest, also 20 but turned few days ago.'' the one with blue hair said, '' you can speak Sungie,'' Minho spoke to the boy next to me, '' Han Jisung. 20.'' was all he said.
'' you already met me, but I am Hwang Hyunjin, been 20 for a while now,''
'' Changbin, the strongest here as you can see,'' he flexed his arms before carrying on, ''I am 21.''
'' Lee Minho, I am 22 next month.'' I noticed he spoke extra softly with me.
'' and finally, there's me, I am 23 next month which makes me the oldest and the leader.'' Chan said smiling warmly. '' and you are?'' Felix asked.
'' you don't have to answer.'' Chan told me and I nodded before speaking up for the first time since I sat down here. '' call me I.N, I am 19.''
'' aww you're a baby, I'm still calling you foxy.'' Hyunjin said while smiling. '' he's so cute, look at him.'' Seungmin cooed making me blush slightly.
'' with all respect to I.N's cuteness I am hungry.'' Changbin announced, '' you're always hungry,'' Felix spoke up from next to him.
'' let's start eating,'' Chan said and they all followed and started fulling their plates with rice and meat, I stayed still. '' hand me your plate,'' he was looking at me now, I handed him the empty plate and he returned it full of food.
it was a lot, especially for a broke person like me who barely have any food or people when it's lunch time, it was way too much.
'' when will it be time for me to go?'' I asked after we finished eating. '' I am scared this might never happen, but it is possible.'' Chan answered me truthfully, '' but, if you want, you can train with us, this way you won't be locked inside all the time.''
'' can I sleep?'' I asked instead of replying, '' of course, you must be tired, you can sleep in Jisung's room until your room is prepared.'' he looked at Minho as he finished his sentence.
Minho walked closer to Jisung and whispered something making him nod before walking towards me, '' follow me,'' he spoke quietly but loud enough for me to hear.
we made our way upstairs and he walked inside the last door on the floor, I followed him inside and looked around the room, it's full of plushies and anime posters, it has two beds both in pink sheets. '' it's lovely.'' I told him quietly, and he blushed before smiling. '' Thank you,''
he sat on one of the beds, the one with the plushies covering it, and I sat on the other one, '' aren't you sleepy?'' he asked, '' I am, but I can't sleep without my foxie,'' I pouted.
'' ohh, I am sorry you don't have him, that must suck so much, I will ask Minho Hyung if he can do something about it,'' he understood, I am glad, '' for now, you can pick someone from mine, I always sleep with my quokka, quokka is a he.'' he showed me him and I smiled at how cute he is. '' I have an orange foxie here, maybe a family member of your foxie can help you fall asleep,'' he handed me the plushie and I smiled wildly as I held him softly. '' thank you, I will take care of him,''
'' you look so different from outside, all tough and cool outfit,'' he pointed out. '' only me, my room's walls, my foxie, and now you, know about this,'' I explained, '' I will keep your secret.'' Jisung promised and I smiled at him before laying down with his foxie in my arms ready to drift to sleep, hoping I will wake up on my own bed with my foxie in my hands.
but I know this won't happen.
