A few weeks later…
Khana was in the kitchen of Bakugo’s apartment, wearing a pink apron while stirring muffin batter. She hadn’t baked for her boyfriend in a while and even though she knew he was the better cook, she enjoyed making his day with sweet treats. She was making cranberry chocolate chip muffins for him. It was a Friday morning but this one was different since he was starting therapy. He wasn’t looking forward to it but Khana encouraged him to give it a try.
He came in wearing his new Under Armour black sweat set with matching sneakers. Khana was putting the batter in muffin cups when he gave her a hug from behind. There was already a batch in the oven so he could smell the fruit from the other room.
“Ooh! What is all this?”
“Just thought I would make you a little treat. It is Friday.”
“This treat smells fucking incredible.”
“I’m glad you think so. The first batch is almost ready. You can take some with you to your appointment.”
“What appointment?” he said with snark.
“Babe, stop. You know what I’m talking about.”
“Oh, the shrink!”
“She’s not a shrink!”
“If you say so.”
The timer on the oven went off letting Khana know that the muffins were ready. Bakugo sipped his hot latte while Khana took the muffins out of the oven. He thought she looked adorable in her apron and matching pink puffed sleeve dress with her hair pulled into a bun.
Khana used a butter knife to put a sliver of butter on top of the muffins. As the butter melted on top of the muffins, Bakugo hugged Khana from behind and started kissing her neck. She was giving major housewife vibes and he was loving every second of it.
“Did I tell you that you look absolutely stunning today?”
“Hehe, now you did.” said Khana while giggling.
“Good.”
He kept kissing her neck, with his arms wrapped around her waist.
“Babe! That tickles! Come on! You’re going to be late!”
“Good!”
“No! Not good!”
Khana pulled away and put her hands on his shoulders.
“Take the muffins and coffee with you in a to-go cup!”
“Ugh!”
“I’ll see you later and you can tell me about how it went!”
Khana put his coffee in a paper cup with a lid and a Ziploc bag with three muffins in it. She gave him a kiss on the cheek before saying goodbye.
“Khana, most people don’t want to start their weekend off with a shrink.”
“She’s not a shrink and I think this could be good for you.”
*sigh* “Ok.”
“I’ll see you tonight. Love you!”
“Love you too!” he said while heading out the door.
