Occasionally when Lyney and Lynette were done with a magic show and if the traveler was their they would come up to them and ask if the two of them would like to spend the night in the serenity teapot. Lynette would almost always decline the invitation saying she’d rather enjoy a quiet night with Freminet (though Lyney knew that wasn’t the entire reason) while Lyney would always accept. Somehow every time Lyney went into the teapot he’d feel a lot more relax so that was part of the reason why he’d always accept. Though before he go he’d make sure to walk with Lynette back to the orphanage just to make sure she’s safe and mostly out of habit.
Once they make it to the orphanage Lyney and Aether both say good night to Lynette, Lynette nods and goes inside. Aether takes the teapot out and looks at Lyney. “Are you ready?”
Lyney smiles. “Of course I am.”
Going into the teapot always feel a bit weird and makes you feel a little dizzy but Lyney’s been in so many times it doesn’t bother him as much anymore. Once they’re in they immediately go to Lyney’s room and start changing into the leftover clothes in the room. Once they’re done they both get into the bed and face each other.
“So did you like show?”
Aether smiles. “Yeah I did, and so did Paimon.”
“How much did you like it?”
“It was magnificent Lyney, I liked it a lot.”
Lyney nods a little and they both just stare at each other for a few seconds. Eventually Aether gives and starts brushing Lyney’s hair, who immediately leans into the touch. Lyney moves closer to Aether and puts his head on his chest.
This is the other part of the reason why Lyney likes staying in the teapot because he knows that Aether will indulge him and this is the only safe place they can do this. That was also the reason why he was somewhat relived when Lynette would decline his offer because he knows that if she did agree he would never hear the end of it.
Aether lifts Lyney’s chin and starts kissing everywhere on his face except his lips. Lyney groans softly.
“…stop!” Lyney whispers unconvincingly. “I just wanna go to bed.”
Aether chuckles and boops his nose. “Okay I’ll stop. You’re probably tired aren’t you?”
Lyney murmurs an agreement and nuzzles his head into Aether’s chest. Aether chuckles again and lays his his chin on top of Lyney’s head.
“Goodnight.”
“Mmm…”
They soon both fall asleep in each other’s arms.
