Win, proud, impressed, a little bit turned on, is the loudest amongst them.
Even to this day, the first thing Team looks for after a race – before he checks his time, before he looks to his coach for approval, even before he looks to see if any of the other racers are already at the finish line – is Win. Despite the distance between them, and the fact that Team’s eyes are basically just two red-lined dots when he tears his goggles off, Win knows he can see him. He sends a thumbs up, and then, just to see Team's grin bunch his cheeks, a finger heart.
