Work Text:
“What’re you making?”
Ren turns around, ear flicking with the movement, to give Martyn a smile of recognition. “Thought I’d get a little hot chocolate going, if you’d care to join me.”
“Sure,” says Martyn. He leans up against the counter, observing. “Bog-standard, or are you putting in anything interesting?”
“Nothing about me’s bog-standard, excuse you!” Affected offense dropped, “I am mixing it up, though. It’s mint.”
Martyn raises his eyebrows; outstretches fingers. Ren nods, and thus Martyn taste-tests. “Good stuff. Sweet.”
“Sweet like you!” Ren boops his nose, no hint of embarrassment.
(In fact, Martyn’s the one to blush.)
