it had been a long day for RONDO as a whole, just finishing a live show in a city rather far from where all the members lived. they all agreed on wanting to get home early, and it didn’t take them too long to say their goodbyes after the show and start to head home.
as usual, nagisa was heading home with hiiro again, planning to spend the night at hiiro’s house together. the other members had become used to this at this point, and thought nothing of it, they had always been close, anyway. unbeknownst to them though, the two were secretly in a relationship together. they both knew the other unit members would be understanding and supportive if they knew, but neither of them felt ready to tell anyone yet.
nagisa and hiiro sat next to each other on the train ride home. tsubaki and aoi had gone back a different way this time, so it was just the two of them on the train now. although they didn’t say anything about it, neither of them minded.
“you did wonderful up there, nagisa,” hiiro whispered to her, taking her hand in hers, and intertwining their fingers. “you were really beautiful.”
nagisa smiled, before sighing, “you say that every time, hiiro..” she rested her head against hiiro’s shoulder.
“how could i not? it’s true each time. i’m so lucky to have a girlfriend as gorgeous as you.”
“hiiro..” nagisa muttered, her face growing slightly warmer, “..you did really well, too.”
hiiro giggled a little, before resting her head against nagisa’s.
time seemed to fly by quickly while the two were together like that, and it didn’t feel like long before the train came to their station. they got off, and walked the short distance to hiiro’s house.
once inside, they both changed into some pajamas, hiiro had always kept an extra pair for nagisa. they quickly got ready for bed together, before returning back to the bedroom. nagisa lied on the bed, while hiiro decided to fold some laundry.
“did you see how big the crowd was today? i have to admit, i was a little freaked out, performing for so many people.” nagisa said, she nearly seemed as if she was still full of energy.
“it was a little scary.. i think being with you helped me get through it, though.” hiiro replied, she was more calm and relaxed than nagisa.
“oh, hiiro.. you’re always saying those things to me, you’re too sweet.” nagisa said, her cheeks heating up once more.
“i can’t help it, nagisa. you’re too perfect.” hiiro hummed in reply.
nagisa smiled from this, but didn’t reply, instead lying there. a comfortable silence took over the room.
a few minutes had passed now, and hiiro slightly started to wonder if nagisa had fallen asleep. it certainly wasn’t unusual for her to go from seemingly having all the energy in the world to quickly asleep in a few minutes.
as if to answer hiiro’s thoughts, nagisa spoke again, breaking the silence, “hiiro?”
“hmm?”
“i’m sleepy, hiiro..”
hiiro giggled, “would you like me to tuck you in, then?”
“nuh-uh, i want you in bed, with me..” nagisa mumbled, pointing to the empty space on the bed next to her, before yawning.
“i see.. i’ll be there in a moment.” hiiro hummed.
“..thank you, hiiro.”
the warmth of hiiro as she crawled into the bed quickly drew nagisa to her, and she found herself nearly instantly hugging hiiro.
hiiro cupped nagisa’s face into her hands, and placed a soft kiss right on her forehead. nagisa’s face flushed a warmer pink, causing hiiro to smile.
“you’re so cute, nagisa,” hiiro hummed again, before kissing nagisa’s cheek.
“mmh… i love you, hiiro..” nagisa mumbled, her eyes were shut, and hiiro could hear the near exhaustion in her voice.
hiiro kissed her other cheek now, “i love you too, nagisa.” she whispered to her, before kissing her again.
nagisa looked up to face hiiro, and placed her hands on hiiro’s face. she pulled her in for a quick kiss, before mumbling again, “i’m sleepy now, hiiro…”
it was nothing more than a quick peck on the lips, but hiiro still felt her face warming up. nagisa returned back to hugging hiiro and shutting her eyes.
admittedly, both women silently wished the kiss could have been longer.
hiiro smiled, still blushing. “goodnight then, nagisa, sleep well.” she whispered to her, and kissed her head once more.
“hnn.. goodnight, hiiro…”
