Izumi needed a break from everything; like, she really needed a break. Between work, having to deal with Leo, and everything else with her life, she needed to get away from it all for some time. So, she found herself walking through a garden. Stepping foot into said garden seemed to bring a sense of peace over Izumi, as she took in everything that the garden had to offer. Various types of flowers that filled the air with a sweet, light scent, as well as birds chirping in the trees and colorful butterflies flitting around between various flowers. The entire scene almost felt like something heavenly or otherworldly.
In order to properly take everything in, Izumi walked through the garden slowly. A deliberate meander through the area as she allowed herself to explore and enjoy everything. She'd stop to smell some of the flowers, and she would also reach to touch some of them, her fingers tracing over their delicate petals. She smiled at the birds and butterflies sharing the garden with her. She drew in a long, deep breath as she stood there, feeling a sense of calm and content washing over her as she stood in the garden. A gentle breeze passed through the place, which blew Izumi's hair around slightly as she walked. A sense of comfort came over her as she felt protected under the strong gaze of the sun, while also being soothed by the wind.
As Izumi continued her journey, she found that the garden flowed into an open patch of grass. Izumi looked out onto the grass, and felt her eyebrow raise as she caught sight of a peculiar sight lying in the middle of the grass.
There lied a girl, lying face down with a flurry of long, messy black hair flowing down her back. Izumi approached her carefully and crouched next to her before shaking her body carefully. The girl stirred before speaking.
"Mmmm... Stop shaking me, I'm trying to sleep..." Izumi immediately recognized her voice, and her eyes widened with surprise.
"Kuma-chan...?"
The girl rolled over, to reveal Ritsu, of course. Her eyes fluttered open slowly, revealing the pools of deep red that hid behind her eyelashes. She stared up into Izumi's deep blue eyes before speaking, taking in Izumi's appearance and processing her face with her voice.
"Secchan...?"
They both stared at each other before speaking in unison and saying "Why are you here?" Ritsu gestured for Izumi to speak first.
She sighed before speaking, "Well, I really needed a break from everything so I decided to come on a walk here. That's basically what I was doing before I, you know, stumbled upon you... What about you?"
Ritsu chuckled, her fangs flashing as she smiled at Izumi. The other girl looked kind of cute with her eyebrows raised and a bewildered expression.
"Fufu~ I had also come out on a walk here, but I got sleepy... The grass looked so comfy, and I couldn't resist..." She yawned, "Hhhhnn.. Now I'm getting sleepy again..."
"You better not fall asleep while I'm talking to you!" Izumi snapped at her, which made her giggle.
"I figured I wouldn't be able to sleep while Secchan was around... Actually, Secchan, do you mind if I ask you something~?"
"Hm? What is it?"
"What if you napped with me?"
Izumi's eyes widened, and her cheeks heated up as she stared at Ritsu, taken aback by the vampiric girl's suggestion.
"Wh-What kind of a question is that?! I wouldn't do such a thing!" Izumi scowled, while Ritsu only smiled at her.
"C'moooon Secchan... It's just a little nap.. besides, we're friends, right~? It's not odd for friends to have a little nap together~"
Izumi swore that Ritsu's voice had a teasing lilt to it, while Ritsu stared up at her with hooded eyes, as if trying to pull her in to this whole thing. Her face gained more color and she looked away from Ritsu, trying to not snarl at her.
"F-Fine! You better not tell anyone about this, though...!"
Ritsu smiled triumphantly as Izumi laid next to her, keeping a distance between their bodies; it made Ritsu frown, and she inched closer to Izumi.
"No need to act so distant, Secchan..."
"... I only bite if you want me to~" She whispered into Izumi's ear, relishing in the way that the model's face lit up red out of embarrassment and fluster (maybe even out of arousal too?... fufu~)
"Do-Don't say anything weird like that!" Izumi tried to hide how flustered Ritsu was making her, yet Ritsu's breath tickled her ear, which made her squirm slightly.
"Mmmh... Fiiiine..."
"Thank you."
They laid in silence for some time, before Izumi reluctantly reached out and wrapped her arms around Ritsu's waist, pulling the black-haired girl closer. Ritsu happily accepted the gesture, and also wrapped her arms around Izumi. The two girls laid in each other's embrace before Ritsu broke it with an unexpected gesture.
She lifted her head up, noticing that Izumi's eyes were closed; she was unsure if she was actually asleep, but her next action would certainly startle her. Ritsu smiled and gently pressed her lips against Izumi's, feeling the other girl jolt while her eyes shot up with shock. She was met with Ritsu opening her eyes and breaking the kiss for a moment to murmur against her lips.
"Just enjoy it, Secchan~"
Izumi was about to protest, before she was shut up by Ritsu kissing her again. This kiss was deeper, which made her whimper softly. Ritsu took that as a sign of victory. Their kiss lasted for a bit before they pulled away. Ritsu smiled while Izumi caught her breath with a flushed face.
"Good night, Secchan~" Ritsu whispered and rested her head on Izumi's breasts before drifting off.
Izumi sighed and looked down at her, before reluctantly stroking her hair, "I don't understand you sometimes, Kuma-chan..."
"Goodnight, though..?" The statement confused the hell out of Izumi since it was still daylight, yet she decided to not dwell on it. She simply let herself fall asleep with Ritsu's head buried in her breasts. An odd sense of comfort washed over her as she fell asleep with Ritsu on the grass, yet she welcomed the feeling.
The feeling made her feel oddly safe and protected, as she was pulled into unconsciousness while the smell of flowers and the chirping of birds continued to fill the air.
