   Summary

   Ranpo then spotted it. A man. A man was sitting by the stream, looking into it. The raccoon ran to him, chuffing at him. The man moved his hand to run through the raccoon’s fur. Ranpo had not seen the man around town before but he looked to be around Ranpo’s age. He had long, dark brown hair that covered his eyes. He was dressed rather formally as well. The man didn’t seem to notice him standing there. Ranpo didn’t know whether he should break the silence and announce his presence or not. For now, he decided to stay silent and observe more.
