Thrown in the world when he was defenseless, Emilian learns the harsh way he has to become as cruel to survive. With little inclination for moral, he plans to climb the strict ladder of success of his clan. Doomed by a promise, and not scared to punish those who have wronged him, even if it goes against the laws, he willingly goes deeper into his cruelty at the risk of his own sanity.
Because of a rare skill inherited from her mother's side, Isolde is doomed at birth to loneliness. Secluded to become the trump card of her clan, the epitome of obedience, she must watch every aspects of her life being decided by her hierarchy.
