    "Steve!" Robin whispered to the best of her ability, though she hasn't quite mastered that, speaking softly was never something her tutors could get her to do correctly.

    "What?" Steve looked up from the open book he had laying in his lap, he was looking for the matching painting of a flower the two had found.

    "Look!"

    Steve looked over to see a boy staring back at him. He was a ways away, tucked behind a few layers of brush so he couldn't see his legs. He looked about their age, maybe a bit older, his hair was long and curly and dark and messy, nothing like Steve had seen on any child in the castle. His shirt was fraying at the edges and the material looked scratchy. Steve supposed he was from the village.
