Shinsou and Bakugou have been dating since there last year at UA (publicly anyway), they've now graduated and become pro heros. They have an apartment together and everynight they go to sleep finding comfort in knowing the other will be there when they wake up. Bakugou and Shinsou both know how dangerous this job is so they enjoy these little moments they get with each other.
Katsuki is usually the first to wake, so when Hitoshi wakes up he's usually greeted with the smell of breakfast. Today was different though, today Hitoshi woke up, not to the amazing smell of breakfast but instead to the sound of quiet whimpers.
He was still half asleep and wasn't quite sure what was happening, until he looked over and saw Katsuki bundled up in the blanket and quietly sobbing every now and then letting out a pained whimper.
The sound crushed the purple haired males heart, and he knew as soon as he saw his boyfriend what had happened.
"Hey, Katsu" he tried his best to sound calm even tough his voice sounded horrible from just waking up. Another pained whimper came out of his partners mouth. "Katsu I need you to wake up, please"
Bakugou slowly started to wake up, and when he fully came to his senses he looked up at his partner and quietly whispered "T-Toshi?"
Hitoshi: "Hey baby, it's ok, your safe"
The blond quietly wept into his partners shoulder while Hitoshi whispered sweet nothings in his ear. After a while katsuki's breathing steadied and his cries slowly faded, he looked up from hitoshi shoulder and asked "Your really here" "Of course i"m here baby" Hitoshi replied with a soft tone. "You wanna tell me what happened?" Katsuki stared up at his partner and started explaining, "You-you were gone..." was all he could muster out but it was enough for the purple haired male to figure it out.
"shh Katsu, you're ok. I'm right here. I'm never gonna leave Katsu, I'm right here, and your safe"
The blond male replied after some time "You were gone and I couldn't save you" he said between sobs. Hitoshi didn't reply, he simply rubbed his boyfriends back with one hand, while the other combed through his surprisingly soft hair.
The pair stayed cuddled up the rest of the day, cuddled up on the bed enjoying eachothers company and safety.
