   Summary

   Vash freezes, a wave of nausea cresting over him. “What do you mean?” he squeaks.

   Wolfwood scowls, glasses reflecting the evening sun in Vash’s face. He sets the Punisher down heavily in the sand. His tone is firm (but concerned nonetheless) when he finally says, “I can smell the blood on you, Vash.”

   (Or, Vash tries to cover up the fact that he got shot. Wolfwood doesn't take it well.)
