Herding Cats With Needles and Iron

Summary:

Quesadilla Island, a peaceful little vacation spot that boasts gorgeous views and brilliant wildlife. Surely, when hundreds visit the island every month, the few hybrids that go missing every trip would go unnoticed. And no one would ever find the facilities the “census bureau” kept hidden underground.

Cellbit, Bagi, and Tubbo were just three of the many hybrid children the federation kept locked underground, experiments to whatever tests the strange bear people decided were necessary. But one thing was certain to the three: they were family, and the Federation would not separate them ever.

Notes:

TW: possible mentions of needles, experimentation, torture, blood, injuries, children in danger or being harmed, and captivity.

English is my native language and currently the only language I speak fluently. I may in the future work with someone to add in bits of Portuguese but as of now everything will be in English. Thank you for reading!

(Note: chapters will have different writing styles as the story goes. I’d love to hear what styles you guys like the most as the story progresses!)

Chapter 1: Test Log #0023 - Bagi

Chapter Text

Test Log #0023

Bagi - 6 years old

Observed by WA05 and WB12

Test: Cats Landing

Results: Unsatisfactory

QID has requested for this test to be conducted on all cat hybrids. This is the first of three tests that will be conducted. This is a continuation of our research into the limits of cat hybrids.

Bagi is the second oldest of three siblings and is a twin, but has proven the most agile. Under such observations it has been requested that she be the first to be put against this test.

The premise of the test is to have the hybrid stand on a platform elevated 10 feet off the ground. A federation certified worker is to push the subject off the platform. Expected results are to be that the subject lands on their feet given their hybrid status.

However Bagi failed this test. After a push from worker WB12, Bagi landed on her left arm. An examination from a federation doctor, QD06, determined the subject broke two bones in her arm. Treatment plans can be found in the infirmary data library, a copy shall be attached to this report at a later date.

The results have been deemed unsatisfactory by WA01, and thus Bagi will be required to participate again at an undisclosed date.

End of report.

Medical Log

Treatment Plan - Bagi

The patient was observed by QD06 and it was determined she had broken two bones in her left arm. A fabric cast and sling were put on the arm and pain killers were administered to stop the patient’s crying. The doctor will not administer any more medication however, and will leave the arm to heal on its own. Another examination to determine how the arm has healed has been scheduled a month from the reported date. The patient has been returned to cell C26.

End of report.
