    In order to avoid the Harvest, the Forerunners went into hiding. From there, they continued to scheme against their destroyers, finding a people worthy of carrying the Mantle of Responsibility, and perhaps destroying the Great Enemy once and for all.

    But how will the weapons they forge with this race fare when they gain their sentience and their self governance? Will they bring the peace so desired, or will they join the harvested, as the chaff joins the wheat?
