Summary
While Idrevka Tav's moral compass doesn't exactly point due north, she tries to live a good life and do what's right, even when she gets kidnapped by mindflayers and infected with one of their tadpoles. Told she has seven days left to live, she and her fellow tadpoled adventurers struggle to find a cure in time. As they fumble through the wilderness, with each lead slowly coming to a dead end, it turns out that everyone is keeping secrets that refuse to stay buried. As people confess to being vampires and Sharrans and warlocks, Idrevka cannot help but fear that her own secrets will come to light, as well. Granted, that won't matter much, if they can't find a cure for their affliction.
