Chapter Text
Blood dripped on to white porcelain as Kaminari stared into the bathroom sink mirror, she didn't recognize herself anymore. Her right eye was swollen shut and lip was split, she could hear her father in the other room arguing with said man who had done this to her, and she could just imagine her mother nodding along her father hoping he doesn't turn his anger toward her.
Kaminari Juno thought lowly of woman, in his eyes they were only meant to for as he saw fit whether it was following his every command or breeding. So, when Denki was born a girl, his father had hated her. He had wanted a son, but his mother could not bare anymore children which Denki thought was best, she hates to imagine what her father would do if he had another girl. The only thing her father thought she was good for was selling her, which was the situation she was in now. The man had gone too far and damage the merchandise her father's words as they were.
Going to U.A she had gave false paperwork and changed her gender on paper to male, she didn't want to be treated like how her father or past math teacher treated her. Her father had been livid when he found out she had taken the exam and got in he had beat her black and blue that day. But he could not withdraw her from the school without questions being raised.
Having been going to U.A for months without having her parents around to either beat her or sell her had made her confidence grow. At U.A she had friends and teachers who seemed to care for her.
Aizawa proved that by taking on over a hundred villains by himself just to protect his class.
Tears streamed down Denki face, before she used to be able to handle being hurt but not anymore, not since she had her small taste of freedom away from here. She didn't want this to be her life, to be a slave to her parents and forced to sell herself. She didn't want this, she wanted to be with her friends, Mina who always seemed to want to try something new, Sero who introduced her to manga, Kirishima who always wore those hideous crocks for shoes, Bakugo who helps tutor her or Mineta who somehow knew her favorite chocolate when she was sure she never told anyone.
She didn't want this.
Denki silently sobbed as the voices got louder, she knew after her father was done with the man he would come for her next. It was somehow always her fought even if she didn't do anything to deserve his anger. Denki turned around looking at the small window. She only had one chance and if she failed there would be hell to pay.
Denki peeked out the bathroom door to find the three adults had moved to the living room, meaning she had a clear path to her bedroom. She tiptoed to her room and quietly shut the door, she quickly grabbed her bag and stuffed full of random clothes and anything she held of value. She needed to hurry so she wasn't paying attention to what she was grabbing.
She also needed to change her clothes considering she was only wearing a white dress and stockings that were ruined from that man earlier. But before she could change out of her clothes, she heard footsteps coming down the hall and froze in fear, Time was out she needed to go now, she opened the window and tossed the bag out first and then climbed out herself. She lived in an old apartment complex, so she was at least three stories up, so she had to climb down. It was freezing with only a dress on. It was already at least three inches of snow on the ground and still snowing.
Denki grabbed onto the drainpipe and made her way as quickly as she could without falling, once she was close enough to jump without out hurting herself, she jumped and rolled. She stood up quick though and grabbed the bag, time was of the essence, she looked up and met the cold stare of her father who was leaning out the window. If looks could kill she would already be dead.
She took off running with no destination in mind.
