They just bought a house, and Shun was convinced that he and Kusuo did not need any help from the movers or his husband’s powers. He was dead wrong.
“Y’know… when you agreed to what I said, I thought this was going to be easy since you’re not really one for inefficiency.” Shun says out of breath, stretching his arms and hitting his head on a nearby wall and letting go of the large bed frame that he and Kusuo were moving into the master bedroom.
“I never said it would be easy.” Kusuo points out, a smug smile appearing on his face when he sees Shun roll his eyes at him while he wipes away the sweat on his forehead. “Shun, I should really use my powers. This is way too much hassle for something I can finish within minutes.” He follows up, guilt eating him up when he sees the tired look on the bluenette’s face.
“...Fine, but only do that for the furniture! Decorating is more fun if we do it together organically.” Shun says, pushing himself off the wall and wrapping his arms around his husband’s neck and pulling him down to his level for a kiss.
“Hmm… why is this the only time I get a kiss when using my powers? Makes me think I should do this more often.” Kusuo says, a laugh bubbling from his throat when Shun hits him lightly while a blush burns on his face.
“I don’t think peering into my mind should earn any form of treat!” Shun says jokingly, not being able to resist the smile forming on his face when Kusuo leans in to shut him up with a kiss.
“It’s kind of hard to kiss you when you keep smiling, Shun.” Kusuo says, pulling away just the slightest bit with a giggle that matches the wide smile on his face.
The couple shared a few more kisses before they finally decided to continue arranging the furniture while the sun’s still up. When they finish with the basic furniture arranging (it was honestly all Kusuo’s work, but Shun had his fair share of help by telling the former where it should go), they start doing some decorating in their bedroom first.
Well… they tried to do some decorating, but the couple ended up falling asleep on the bed when they laid down on it. The move tiring them out since it was almost 12 hours of travel to get to the countryside where they bought their home.
A home, a place they can call theirs forever.
