Work Text:
Danielle's fingers card through Haerin's hair, eventually reaching to massage her scalp.
She can't help but let out a purr. Danielle smiles in return, and Haerin can't tell if it's simply because she simply made that sound, or if it's because Danielle herself pulled that sound from Haerin's throat.
"You're so precious, Haerinie." Danielle whispers it one more time into the back of her head for good measure. Haerin feels her cheeks grow warm at the comment.
And suddenly, she thinks of something.
This may be considered love, Haerin muses. But then again, what does she want to mean by the word?
Danielle laughs airly. "It doesn't have to mean a lot to others," she says lazily – Haerin only then realizes that she's been thinking aloud. "As long as you're satisfied, then it'll be all good."
"I'm satisfied," Haerin replies, leaning into Danielle's touch more and more. "Are we girlfriends?"
"I don't know." Danielle presses a kiss to the top of her head. "Why can't you be you and I'll be me?"
"Sounds nice," she murmurs, closing her eyes. Danielle kisses her again, and she almost forgets the conversation.
Haerin decides that she'll store it for later. All she wants to do now is bask in the warmth that is Danielle Marsh.
