Chapter 1: Happy Birthday to Me...
Chapter Text
You wake up in bed and mark off another day on your calendar, it's your 13th birthday!
You go downstairs to see the cake you baked last night waiting for you!
You have a slice of cake.
It’s good cake.
You decide to go for a morning walk.
It's a nice morning, the same as all the other mornings, but a nice morning none the less.
You decide to hang out with your friend Mr. Training Dummy.
"Good morning, Mr. Training Dummy!" You say to yourself.
"Good morning, Ralsei, and happy birthday! I got you a gift!" You say back putting on a voice and moving the dummy to pointing to a box containing a scarf you knitted.
"Thank you so much!" You say back as you put the scarf on.
"Glad ya Like it, Ralsei!" You respond putting on the same voice.
"Of course, who wouldn't like a wonderful gift from a wonderful friend!" You respond as yourself.
"Why, thank you!" You respond in the voice.
"You're most welcome!" You respond.
After a while you decide to have lunch.
You take some bread and put it in your cauldron.
You take some butter and put it in your cauldron.
You stir it.
And stir it.
And stir it.
Where once was raw ingredients, there is now toast!
You scoop it on to a plate.
You then grab a fork.
And a knife.
You eat the toast.
It's good toast, the same as any other toast, but good toast none the less.
You go outside to take another walk.
It's a nice afternoon, the same as all the other afternoons, but a nice afternoon none the less.
Eventually you go home for dinner.
You take two slices of bread and put it in your cauldron.
You take some peanut butter and put it in your cauldron.
You take some jelly and put it in your cauldron.
You stir it.
And stir it.
And stir it.
Where once was raw ingredients, there is now a peanut butter and jelly sandwich!
You scoop it on to a plate.
You grab a knife.
You slice the sandwich into two triangles.
You eat the sandwich.
It's a good sandwich, the same as any other sandwich, but a good sandwich none the less.
You go to your library.
You go through the fairy tales section.
You find your favorite fairy tale: Cinderella.
"-And when her wedding with the prince was appointed to be held the false sisters came, hoping to curry favour, and to take part in the festivities. So as the bridal procession went to the church, the eldest walked on the right side and the younger on the left, and the pigeons picked out an eye of each of them. And as they returned the elder was on the left side and the younger on the right, and the pigeons picked out the other eye of each of them. And so they were condemned to go blind for the rest of their days because of their wickedness and falsehood." You read aloud finishing Cinderella.
You put the book back where you found it.
You go to bed as content as any other day.
Chapter 2: Another day in Castle Town…

Chapter Text
You wake up in bed and mark off another day on your calendar, it’s the day after your 13th birthday!
You take some wheat and put it in the cauldron.
You take some milk and pour it into the cauldron.
You stir it.
And stir it.
And stir it.
Where once was raw ingredients, there is now a bowl of cereal!
You decide to eat straight from the cauldron instead of going through the hassle of pouring it into a bowl.
It's good cereal, the same as any other cereal, but good cereal none the less.
You take some water and pour it into the cauldron.
You take some soap and pour it into the cauldron.
You stir it.
And stir it.
And stir it.
And the once dirty cauldron is cleaned.
You decide to take a stroll.
It's a nice stroll, the same as all the other strolls, but a nice stroll none the less.
After you’re done you decide to have lunch.
You take some bread and put it into the cauldron.
You take some lettuce and put it into the cauldron.
You take a tomato and put it into the cauldron.
You stir it.
And stir it.
And stir it.
Where once was raw ingredients, there is now a sandwich!
You take the sandwich with you to the library.
You pull out The Little Mermaid.
“After three hundred years, thus shall we float into the kingdom of heaven,” said she. “And we may even get there sooner,” whispered one of her companions. “Unseen we can enter the houses of men, where there are children, and for every day on which we find a good child, who is the joy of his parents and deserves their love, our time of probation is shortened. The child does not know, when we fly through the room, that we smile with joy at his good conduct, for we can count one year less of our three hundred years. But when we see a naughty or a wicked child, we shed tears of sorrow, and for every tear a day is added to our time of trial!” You read aloud finishing The Little Mermaid.
You ate the sandwich while reading the story.
It was a good sandwich, the same as any other sandwich, but a good sandwich none the less.
You put the book back where you found it.
You decide to go on another stroll.
It's a nice stroll, the same as all the other strolls, but a nice stroll none the less.
Eventually you go home for dinner.
You decide to have a leftover slice of cake.
It’s good cake.
It’s time for bed.
You go to bed as content as any other day.
