I woke up, my head throbbing and my body feeling hot. I grumbled and Naruto came into the room with a glass of water, a thermometer, and some soup. “Oh, you’re awake now. How are you feeling, Sasuke? I checked your temperature while you were sleeping and you had a high fever.” I tried to talk, but my throat felt too dry. “It’s ok, you don’t have to talk. Here, have this water and soup. Do you need help sitting up?” I nodded and Naruto gently propped me up. Naruto gently fed me the soup and helped me drink the water.
After I was finished, he took my temperature. “Looks like it only went down a little, would you like some medicine?” I nodded and Naruto left to go get me cold medicine which he helped me take. I grabbed his wrist as he started to walk away again and he turned to look at me with a questioning look on his face. “Sasuke, what’s wrong?” I weakly pulled him to me and spoke weakly “Stay…” Naruto gently sat next to me and cuddled me in his arms. “Ok, I’ll stay here as long as you need me.” I fell asleep in his arms, and woke up a few hours later again with Naruto gone. This time I felt a bit better so I got up to search for Naruto. I found him in the bathroom running the water in the tub to fill it.
“Naruto..?” Naruto turned to me and immediately got up and rushed to me after turning the water off. “Baby, what are you doing up? You should be resting in bed still, y’know? I was drawing a warm bath for you and was just about to get you.” I smiled gently “Thank you…” “No problem Sasuke, did you need help getting undressed?” I blushed and nodded shyly. Naruto gently undressed me and I blushed the whole time, and when he was done he gently kissed my forehead. Naruto gently helped me in the bath and I smiled as he started to wash me gently with a sponge. I leaned into his every touch and he would gently chuckle at times. After he was done he helped me out of the shower and dried me gently. I blushed more and he dressed me, then picked me up and carried me. I nuzzled into his chest and he chuckled once more. Naruto took me to the couch and put on my favorite show for me. “I’ll be back, I’m going to make dinner for you.” I nodded and he kissed me on the forehead again.
I watched my show until he came with a plate of rice, vegetables and some cooked spam on the side. I thanked him and ate most of it, but left some as I wasn’t as hungry as I usually was. I looked away guiltily, but then Naruto said “It’s ok, I’m glad you ate even just a little.” I smiled at him and he went to clean the dishes and I patiently waited for him to come back. As soon as he sat back down next to me I immediately put his arm around me and nuzzled into his chest. I don’t really remember passing out, but the next thing I knew I was in the bedroom. I looked up to see Naruto’s cute sleeping face and smiled gently at that. I caressed his cheek and held him tightly.
I was glad that Naruto could take care of me and I fell asleep soundly.
