50 miles north of Canterlot
There was a mountain range just north of Canterlot. It is here that the resistance led by Princess Luna and Godzilla, Jr. rested for the night. It had been three days since they left the Crystal Empire, opting to head to Canterlot by foot instead of by train.
"Do you think it was a wise decision to move by foot to Canterlot?" Luna asked Junior as they led down together.
"It's a feeling that made me decide this course of action," Junior said. "Chrysalis knew we were coming to the Crystal Empire, which is how she sent us to my world. I can't let that happen again to the ponies, including you."
"Junior-"
"Shh. Did you hear that?"
"Hear what?"
Junior looked out of the mountain and noticed what appeared to be three figures of creatures at the entrance. They moved slowly toward them, but suddenly Isom Sentry and Applejack jumped them and knocked them out cold.
Isom looked at one of the creature's outfit. "They are Ebony's forces."
"They found us?" Applejack wondered. "But how?"
"Isom, find anypony else who is awake and have them scout out the caves," Junior said. "We need to be sure there aren't more of them."
Isom nodded and went though the caves with several ponies in search of Ebony's forces. Using the darkness to their advantage, the ponies found at least three more squads of Ebony and quickly took them down.
"Isom, look at this," Applejack said. "This one has a different insignia than the others."
Isom looked at the insignia and saw that is was a human hand made of red. Ebony's insignia looked more like four red crescent moons crossing each other on the points with a white dragon in the middle of the moons.
"This must be a pony working for Ebony," he said. "But I have no knowledge of any insignia like this."
Isom noticed what appeared to be a note poking out of the pony's pocket. He took the note and read it. As he read it, his eyes began to widen.
"Go to Luna and Junior!" he ordered Applejack. "These ponies are a distraction."
Applejack rushed to where Luna and Junior where. When she reached the location, she saw Junior on the ground with three tranquilizer darts in his chest. She saw somepony at the entrance of the cave placing an unconscious Luna on a harness. The pony wore the insignia with the red hand she saw earlier.
"HEY!" Applejack shouted.
The pony turned around and noticed Applejack. The pony aimed something on his shoulder and it fired something at her. Applejack quickly dodged the fire, not knowing what it was that the pony was firing at her. When more of the resistance came rushing in, the pony jumped out of the cave with the unconscious Luna. When the ponies went to the edge of the mountain, they couldn't see the pony or Luna.

Junior woke up six hours after he was tranquilized with a massive headache. Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and Isom were in the room when he woke up.
"What happened?" Junior asked.
"You were tranquilized," Applejack said.
"Where is Luna?"
"Sire," Isom said as he held the note he found. "The enemy soldiers were sent here to capture you and Luna. While we were able to save you, we weren't fast enough to stop them from taking Luna."
Junior grunted his teeth. "She is probably in Canterlot by now."
"It's possible, Sire."
Junior got up and walked out.
"Where are you going?' Applejack asked.
"I'm going to save Luna," Junior said.
"By yourself?"
"It would be best."
"Junior, you need to think first. You can't do this alone."
"Well, what else am I suppose to do?"
"We need to come up with a plan."
"Sire, I know what it is like to have a love one taken from you," Isom said. "They took my brother Flash and had him in the catacombs of the Crystal Empire."
Junior calmed down a bit. "Okay, but don't take too long with making the plan."

Junior waited impatiently for the ponies to make a plan. He need to saw Luna and get rid of Ebony. Soon, the ponies had a plan and presented it to Junior.
"We have a way in Canterlot," Isom said. "There are catacombs under the castle. You see, before the castle was built, it was a mining facility. After the mountains were depleted of its resources, it was abandoned until Princess Celestia moved there during her reign."
"Hmm, I like it," Junior said. "But how can we be sure that Ebony doesn't know about the catacombs?"
"We don't, but only so few ponies remember the catacombs."
"So, it's a fifty-fifty chance that we might not be discovered."
"Exactly."
Suddenly, two ponies came in, dragging a pony in a camouflage uniform and threw him on the ground.
"We found him on the south ridge," one of the ponies said.
"Does he carry Ebony's insignia?" Isom asked.
"No, he doesn't."
"What about this red hand that we found last night?"
"He doesn't wear that either, sir."
"Hold on," Junior said. "What is your name?"
The pony pulled himself up. "My name is Captain Ford Brody of the United States Navy."
Junior moved his head back slightly. "You're a human. Why are you here?"
"I was sent on a mission from my commanding officer to hunt down a group of terrorist called the Red Hand. We found there camp, but it was abandoned. We found a portal to this world and have been trapped here for nearly two years."
"Where is the rest of the team that you came with, captain?"
"They're dead. It was a long time ago. I'm all that is left of my team. Who are you?"
"My name is Godzilla, Jr. the King of the Monsters."
"You're Godzilla?"
"I had a feeling that you knew about me."
"I haven't seen you since you were in San Francisco twelve years ago."
Junior tilted his head. "Captain Brody, I wasn't in San Francisco twelve years ago."
"I remember it happening because I was there."
"Sir, I do believe that you may have come from a different world than the one I'm from."
"I don't understand."
"It would probably help all of us to hear your story."
