Summary
When she was five years old, Meghan had a close encounter with a Kaiju known as 'Godzilla'. Because of this encounter, she has become one of Japan's rising biologists in the study of Kaiju. Thanks to her research, she has come across footage of Godzilla helping japan instead of destroying it. There even seem to be instances where he can be communicated with.
Taking this theory to the government, she proposes an expedition to 'Monster Island' to put her theory to the test. If she's successful, she could save the very nation she had grown up in. If she fails, she could end up as Kaiju food.

Throughout recorded history, humans have often viewed things more powerful than themselves, beyond their comprehension, with reverence. The Kaiju are no exception to this. Everyone had heard of the shut-in communities and isolated villages worshipping the likes of Varan and Baragon, the worship by entire civilizations of creatures like Megalon, King Caesar, or Manda, or the popularity of the growing worldwide Church of Mothra.
So, should it be surprising that when a certain crystalline monstrosity makes his home in Fukuoka intending to dominate the planet, he finds himself with a lone admirer? For the enigmatic Space creature, it's a new and interesting method of entertainment. For that lone admirer? The start of a rabbit hole down her childhood past, the rediscovery of herself and her place in the world, and the beginning of a journey she didn't ask for, but isn't sure she dislikes.

For those unaware, this project pertains to the last three Godzilla films created in Japan during the 1990s, which are Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II, Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla, and Godzilla vs Destoroyah. In essence, I have attempted to modify the plots of these three films to make them more to my preference, to the best of my ability. I should emphasize to any fans of these films that I have not meant to do this out of spite. I have my gripes with quite a few Godzilla films, but these three films in particular actually mean quite a lot to me, as they were some of the first Godzilla films I ever watched. Some of my first Godzilla-related memories were watching these three films on TV with my grandpa. I should also emphasize that I do not mean to take credit for these films. Their plots and ideas do not belong to me, I have merely attempted to put my own spin on them. To anybody who reads this, I greatly appreciate you taking time out of your day. Constructive criticism and feedback are quite welcome, I am not a professional writer and advice to make this the best it can be is also appreciated! With the formalities out of the way, here is the result of nearly three months of work, the Heisei Godzilla Rewrite Project!

A young Legendary Godzilla finds a strange infant Godzilla with Crystals protruding out of its body washed up on a Beach on Monster Island. He is uncertain of the little Godzilla, with the older Kaiju like Gamera and Battra telling him stories of a race of vicious and violent Crystal Godzilla’s from inside the Earth.
Legendary, however, makes it his mission to befriend the child Crystal Godzilla as he is small, timid and clearly traumatised by something or someone. Something that’s scared of everything couldn’t possibly be as violent and as sadistic as the other Kaiju say, right?
