(This work is a mashup of Godzilla, Gamera and Ultraman. Though I do have characters from prievious eras of the franchise, I grew up with the Monsterverse, so that’s what I’ll primarily be taking from, at least for Kong, Godzilla and Mothra)

In which Kenji’s best friend since youth reveals she is an incarnation of the ‘Mother of Kaiju’. Found by Ultra Dad during the fight between himself and Gigantron (20 years before the movie timeline), just two years younger than his son, who develops feelings for her. Years later, after the death of her adoptive parents, she moves back to Japan, taking over research for her parents, but not with the KDF. She’s the top expert on Kaiju, knows things others don’t, and how to deal with them. When Kenji returns, now taking over the mantle of Ultraman when Mr. Sato is injured, and struggling to learn the ropes of being Ultraman himself, she is forced to rediscover her true nature during his battle with Gigantron.
TLDR: Kenji finds out his best friend since his youth is the actual ‘Mother of all Kaiju. To keep Emi safe and find out what the KDF are doing, she stays at Kenji’s while she recovers, helping where she can as a babysitter to the baby pink lizard monster. Navigating platonic love, as well as romantic love, and drama including certain secrets -
